Aetius flew into Polaris and decided to land herself in front of the Spire. She has heard of the spire before, and has heard whispers of it being an important piece of history behind the caves. Though being one with arcane magic, the snowy owl has seen things that she never would have thought she could see. Aetius has seen
pieces of the caves' history. Now she knew that there was way more to these caves than what she was seeing. Which brought her to the spire. Aetius was now interested in what the caves' history was, and it's secrets. The owl was going to find out, this was her home after all. Using hindsight on the Spire sounded dangerous! But maybe she could see something greater here, than any other object could provide. Aetius thought for a moment as she stared at the Spire.

Aetius looked at the spire in curiousity as the giant spider spoke to her, with a hint of frustration. Then she turned to the spider respectfully.
"I don't wish to go mad. It's just there are so many secrets to this cave, and I doubt that any gembound knows the history of it. For example, in Orion there are crumbled buildings still intact, yet what's the history behind those?" Aetius took a deep sigh before continuing.
"I remember practicing my power in Tunnel J, on the carvings. I heard someone commanding the creatures who were working on the carvings. It said, 'Hurry up! Stop dawdling, or do you want to be', then it stopped right there. I know this is more to these caves, and I know the spire has answers." Aetius cocked her head at the spider.
"But is this the right way? Oh I'm sorry, where are my manners. What is your name?" Aetius really wanted answers, but was it worth the risk?
@Thothaga
Aetius listened respectfully as Thothaga spoke to her. The young owl then perked up at the spider's praise of her showing promise. She was also happy to hear the spider also held arcane magic as well. Aetius was starting to look up to Thothaga, and she honestly wanted to learn all she could from her. Maybe, even become her student, if she was willing.
"Why, thank you Thothaga. It means a lot coming from you to hear that I have promise. Though you said you knew things most gembound don't. Would you mind sharing what you know? I would also love it if you would take me under your wing, and teach me of the caves, and more of my hindsight power." Yes, the snowy owl was starting to deeply respect Thothaga.
"I am part of a group called the Kingdom of Eridanus, run by my guardian Rift in Eridanus. He leads us." Oh how she would love someone like Thothaga to guide her, she seemed very wise.
"I will also leave the spire alone. I'm not going to take the risk for something to go wrong. I will find out of the cave some other way."
@Thothaga
Aetius listened on with great interest as Thothaga spoke. When she said 'maybe', her hopes started to rise higher. The owl cocked her head out of curiosity when Thothaga mentioned of wanting something in return. Not only that, she stated exactly what she wanted. Aetius decided to agree, as long as nobody got hurt on this deal.
"Of course, Thothaga! I would be glad to assist you in gathering pieces of the past. I think that seems to be a very fair deal. One question, if I may. You mentioned pieces of the past. Do you mean of the caves, other gembounds, or both?" Aetius wanted to know what to look for so she can better assist the spider.
@Thothaga
Aetius heeded Thothaga's instructions and advice, and made sure to lock it in her mind. Then when Thothaga asked what it was she wanted to know, well, she wasted no time in asking.
"I will make sure to keep all you told me in mind. What I want to know Thothaga is, what was before us gembounds? In Orion, the buildings, we certainly didn't make them and they have been there for a while. Do you know of what the caves used to be like before us?" She hoped Thothaga would at least know of that. But if she did not, then it was understandable. Aetius obviously did not know of the masters yet, even in her quest to gain information.
