Usingizi slithered through Cetus, her home cave. It felt right to be in Cetus, she'd hatched from her chyrsalis here. It was full of good memories. She was much larger now than she had been then, but it made finding edible food easier for her. Which was what she needed at the moment. Phley had said the Aquarian liked food. So she'd find food for him. She flickers her toungue out in an attempt to catch the scent of some prey.
She catches the scent of a deer, beneath the ever present scent of mud and algae. She grows excited. Once she kills it she'll be able to present it to Father Aquarian, and finally be able to know whether or not he was her dad. She slithers after the scent trail, quiet and cautious.

She catches sight of a tail, and does her best to stay out of sight, slipping behind boulders and logs until she was in the perfect position for ambush. A deer was much larger than the things she was used to killing, larger than her in fact, but she would offer Father Aquarian the best.

The deer was grazing quietly. She struck at it's neck, and from there things went wrong. She doesn't hit the neck, but goes wide, latching onto one of its legs. She doesn't notice until she feels the bony limb in her jaws. The deer takes off with a hoarse cry, and she's left dangling from it's front leg as it takes off in a run across the swamp.

She coils around it in panic, wrapping what little she can of her body around it. She feels much like a stubborn leech might. The deer does not take kindly to it's passenger and rolls. She feels something hard beneath her, and figuring it must be the deer's belly, coils around it. It is only when she looks down that she realizes it is another rock. She sighs, feeling the newborn bruises throb painfully over her body. She would stick to smaller things. Deer were not for her.
Usingizi slithers to the shore of the swamp and begins to wade in. The cool water against her scales already makes her feel at home. She sets about the task of finding a fish, only to find the task already completed for her. She feels the wet belly of a fish against her nose. The shock nearly prevents her from grabbing it, but she latches her teeth around it. She pulls it to shore as it struggles in her grip, nearly too strong for her to hold.

She breaches the surface and the silver scales begin to slip from the water. And the fish keeps going. And going. She's bewildered but relieved when the head finally slips from underneath the water. She drags it a good distance from the water, and coils around it until its struggles stop. She is thouroghly confused at it all, most of all at how she'd been able to drag such a massive fish, but she hopes that Father Aquarian likes her gift.
Usingizi slithers back under the water. The second fish does not come as easily as the first. Not nearly. She searches much longer, and just when she thinks her search will be unsuccessful, she spots a dot of grey scales in the murky water. She swims after it, nearly losing it twice in the murk, and eventually grabs it between her jaws. Its just the fin, but she adjusts her hold as it whips.

She manages to coil around the fish, only releasing it once its struggles cease. She relaxes and drags the fish to shore. Its...not nearly as big as her other fish. But Father Aquarian would not mind. She hopes. She presses the gem in her mouth warily. She wasnt sure how many fish Father Aquarian liked, but hopefully he liked two fish. She wasn't looking forward to pushing her bruised, aching body further.
Usingizi climbs atop a rock nearby the pair of fish she caught. Phlegethon said that Aquarian takes food quick. She did not want to be food as well. But Aquarian would know her, right? Could you eat something without realizing it was not food? The thought was worry enough for her to not sit atop her catch. She clears her throat, readying her voice. She feels giddy at the thought of meeting an older her--a Father perhaphs. That is what Phlegethon called him. Father Aquarian. She pulls upon the magicka from the stone in her mouth, an odd feeling, and casts her eyes upon the water nearby the shore. She prepares to cast her voice as best she can.

"Father Aquarian?" Her voice projects, hopefully sounding off within the water. It is a bit muffled, but she hopes it is legible and not a degenerate sound.
For a moment, there was silence.

Then a ripple--a shift in the black water, a bump, a surge, arrowhead in shape. What erupted from the marsh was blue and neon yellows, all scales and fins, some three hundred feet long. It burst forth in a tidal wave of water, sending a surge crashing over the shore, washing into the swamp.

He towered over Usingizi, and looked rapidly around. Aquarian had not eaten in some time--and as he spotted the little one's offering, his head shot down to examine it. First with one eye, then the other--then it was snapped down, swallowed whole, little more than a tiny snack. It was a miniscule offering--but it was an offering nonetheless, and the little one had done well in bringing it to him.

"WHAT?" he screeched at last, his roar shaking the droplets of mist from the trees and echoing through the muffled fog of Cetus. Then he waited, staring down at the young anaconda from where he towered, still half-submerged in the lake.

@Usingizi
Usingizi had not...expected this. She'd expected someone smaller. Her size maybe. She froze in shock, wordlessly watching her fish disappear in seconds. She slowly blinked up at the serpent. Sure enough, it did...look like her sort of. It was long like her. But....much bigger. It was also extremely loud. Would she really look that that? Would she act like that?

"I.." She started, and didn't find words. She pressed her gemstone nervously. She'd forgotten her words in her suprise. She rushed to slot the words together in her mind, trying to remember why she came here. It took her a minute to piece things together. Thats right--Father Aquarian was her dad maybe.

"You my dad Aquarian? Father?" The words came out as stilted and nervous sounding as Usi felt.

@GAME MASTER DARK

((it only took me a month to reply NICE))
Aquarian stared down, his eyes blinking somewhat unevenly as he regarded the tiny (relatively) snake.

What was with these Gembound and their assumption that he was their father...?

"SURE," he answered, his voice still a roaring screech. And totally indifferent. Father, not father; he didn't care. Whatever they wanted. So long as they brought him food. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" he then demanded.

Surely, that hadn't been all?
