Description: The size of a large dog, this hybrid has feathery magenta fur from head to toe. Short, stout legs bend to face out from the body, which is shaped much like that of a polar bear, despite the far smaller size. It bears a short bear tail, a mid-length skull shaped somewhere between that of a bear and a skink-like creature, and bear-like eyes in a bright pink-violet hue. Two horns twist back from the back of its skull. This creature's gemstone is a black opal, flecked with rainbow colors; this stone replaces the roof of its mouth and all its upper teeth. This creature is omnivorous.

Description: The size of an adult polar bear in height at the shoulder, yet short-bodied and stout, this Gembound is a rather strange sight. It has only one pair of limbs--thick, strong, ducklike and webbed--with black skin where the short, white fur that covers the rest of the body ends. It has no wings or forelimbs. A pair of bearlike eyes, though pale green, sit in a face that seems half-bear, half-waterfowl. Its ears are similar to a polar bear's, but half the size, tiny and stubby. This creature is an obligate carnivore, requiring a diet of meat. Its stone--a pale pink pearl--takes up a portion of its upper right lip, rendering that part of its mouth immobile.

Gaur horns twist back from a polar-bear-like skull, though the muzzle and eyes more resemble its gaur parent. Its short brush tail, though bovine, is far shorter than a gaur's. Despite the gaur muzzle and dentition, this creature is an obligate carnivore, requiring a diet of meat. Its clawed forelimbs could be used for hunting. Its stone, bright amber, forms its right hind hoof.

Name: Pubber
Character: 1
Gender: Female
Personality: Pubber is bright and obnoxious from birth, drawing plenty of unwanted attention regardless of what she does. She stands out from the crowd, and as a result, Pubby is... extremely, and irrevocably, shy. From a very young age, she knows that she is unique and different, and doesn't exactly like the consequences of it. She spends a lot of time hiding and avoiding others, even those that mean well. She absolutely hates conflict, and would much rather run away than ever try to stand up for herself or others.

However, beneath her timid outer shell is that of a talented artist. Her very existence is a statement of... "art" itself, which brings her a great deal of shame and embarrassment, but she does find herself privately loving bright colors and stark contrasts. Spending a great deal of time alone and avoiding other gems, she will end up evolving as an independent and unique artist, and eventually the creations she make will help her make friends that like her for her art and allow her to come out of her shell.

She is quiet and soft spoken, and often it takes her a while to think of what exactly she wants to say. She has a much better time expressing herself through her art-- whether through creating gem and crystal structures with her magic, painting, or even music. Loud noises and physical contact will always be fairly overwhelming for her, but eventually she may develop a love for snuggling with those that do eventually befriend her.

Personality: Gaul is... well, they're none too bright. All brawn, no brain, really.

They've got a good heart, one could say. Gaul holds their friends close, their family closer. Their friends are family to them, and they'd happily give their life for them. Gaul, however, is not one for violence--they turn the other cheek, one could say, baring their shoulder to whoever is going after them. If someone is going after one of their friends, they'll step in between, using their bulk as a living shield. Once they have the Magic for it, they'll make an earth or gem shield.

They're a rather simple Gembound, content to play with their Magic, laze with their family, and enjoy the simpler things in life. A cool gulp of water, a particularly tasty meal, although they love shiny things as well. Shiny things and pretty things, actually: a particularly pretty feather, a handsome cave deer striding by. They only hunt what they need to survive, although considering their size that is rather a lot, but otherwise they are happy to watch Lesser Gembounds go about their lives, sprawling out as they watch their prey go about their lives.
