P. Ky <3 AND Usui!(quix)
Today, it was gloomy. Gloomy within the walls of organized castles. Through the windows of stone, flares of pearl twinkled reflections. Reflections of an owned crystal. Rhône's crystal.

The pale Tourmaline chrysalis sat still, moving not an inch. Balanced inside, she laid motionless. Sleeping aided in distraction of the odd confinement. Avoid the questions. Silence seemed satisfactory and her heart found no trace in empathy. Missing at such an innocent age, she was to be concerned about.

' M o v e . '

Sparking like flames to gasoline, life would ignite with the open of her eyes. Melon shinned through, glowing the chrysalis its self. She would grunt her discomfort while pressed against the stone. Hind legs wanted to be cramped no more!

Inhaling, she used all her strength to break free. Instinctual itches almost. Ears tucked as the chrysalis shattered like broken glass. Paws would sit atop, oblivious to small cuts. She'd wonder, curious eyes painting the dull walls.

" Talking looks like this. "
' Thinking looks like this.. '

Makyna wandered through Orion. She didn't quite know why but she just felt as if she should be here. Call it some sort of intuition but she just felt as if something new was happening, something new was arriving. Her paws carried her easily over the ground while her tail flicked behind her, lowered behind her rear legs in a casual position. A song was hummed in her throat and this one, unlike the others she'd thought up the past few days wasn't sad. It was a happy one! Cheerful, upbeat, she didn't understand the lyrics much but it was about partying so that was a plus! She tapped into her magic without thinking and tried to make a little whispering accompaniment with her song but it was very faint, hardly there. Ah well, she had enough of a voice to sing without an accompaniment.

"
Don't stop, make it pop
Maji, blow my speakers up
Tonight, I'm-a fight
Till we see the sunlight
Tick-tock on the clock
But the party don't stop, no!
"

Her rump wiggled to the rhythm of the sung and soon her tail was raised into the air as she swung it back and forth. When was the last time she'd danced and had so much fun? Soon she was high-stepping along with the tune as she rounded a corner.

"
Ain't got a care in this cave, but got plenty of fish
Ain't got no money in my pocket, but I'm already here
And now the males are lining up 'cause they hear we got swagger
But we kick 'em to the curb unless they look like my Cancer!
"

She was about to continue on until she saw something up ahead. Her high-stepping and singing came to a stop. What she saw had a smile curving up on her face. Another lion! A cub at that! Oh! How wonderful! The lioness bolted forwards towards the cub and skidded to a halt a couple of feet away. The lioness lowered to her belly so that she could be eye to eye with the cub and hopefully not intimidate her. With the broken bits of crysalis the lioness could tell that this one was fairly new. "Hello there, little lion. My name's Makyna Songcat... Do you have a name?" She spoke slowly. Unsure if her words would be recognized by the cat yet.

"Talking looks like this!"
Thinking looks like this...
"Songcat indeed Makyna, who'd known you'd have such a nice voice?" came Usui's boyish, teasing tone from the back. A soft, rumbling purr arose from his chest as he padded forward, large gangly paws gaining traction over the ground while feline tail swung lazily behind him. It had been a while since they had last met, and the lion cub had since filled out his smaller body. Little bits of mane clung to his neck, more prominent but scattered in random assortment. He was in Orion not by chance - it was yet another day of exploring for this nomad and Orion, with its glory of glittering quartz, was his intended location for today. As the sandy cub walked past the lady's side, he tilted his head and flashed her a grin full of healthy, gleaming ivories. His otherwise chalky, calm eyes reflected a sense of playfulness today and chuckled softly to Makyna. It was indeed a joyful occasion where lions gathered.

The lion bent his head then to check out the pale bundle of fur. It was a girl with an astonishingly pink nose. "Hey lil one. Name's Usui. Welcome to Origin," he cooed to her, chalky eyes melting a little in tenderness. She was simply adorable, and it was wonderful how more of their kind were appearing on Origin. Did this point to a certain pattern? Casting aside his intellectual debate for a moment, the boy sat upon his haunches and tried to conjure up his magic. Nothing happen though - perhaps he would try again later. The rosy-hued bundle of fur deserved some keepsake of sorts to welcome her into the world. "What's yer name, young 'un?" he rumbled gently to her in his rogue-ish slang, and attempted to pat her fur with his right paw.

Besides the groggily mood the place was in itself, two voices of causality would coo into white ear hoods. Rotating to her left, a larger woman approached, followed by a.. boy?

She twinged her nose at him, smelling his musk. She quickly jumped to her feet, rushing to smell Usui's pelt. She was delighted to be with creatures who looked the same. Especially this boy.

Pink shattered crystals laid behind her as she'd quickly move to Usui's side; no hesitation was smelt. She confidently sat near her opposite sex, infatuated. She'd be careful not to touch him as her incubating virus was present. Pink orbs glared Ms.Songcat's way with admiration now.

She was curious and already lively with innocence. " U-shi. Mak. " She said their names as casually as they could-- or so she thought. Usui was Ushi to her and Makyna was Mak. She imprinted on the two consciously. She took time pronouncing their names. She now silenced herself, attempting to hear the beating of hearts within her range. Quieting down, she inhaled with the acknowledgments of each stranger's physical status. No ones heart was beating as quick as hers! Excited, she added
" What am I, U-shi? "

" Talking looks like this. "
' Thinking looks like this.. '

Makyna's ears twitched backwards to better hear what the approaching lion had to say. She certainly hadn't expected to hear that voice so soon. Her head followed her ears as her blue gaze dropped downwards to meet the green eyes of Usui. He looked a little different since their last encounter, tufts of fur sprouted from around his neck and was his voice just a little deeper? The lioness gave him a smile of welcome. "Hey, Usui, thanks... though that was just a little silly song I thought up." She said modestly. Compliments on her looks she quite enjoyed but ones on her voice but her shuffle her paws with embarrassment. If her surname was indeed Songcat though then she should probably get used to the compliments.

Her eyes went back to the little white cub as Usui went to give his greetings. Instantly the little one seemed to warm right up to him, walking up to the male cub and plopping down right beside him. Makyna couldn't help but give a laugh at her antics. "Well, I do believe you've made a friend!" The lioness easily slid down onto her belly and lay next to the pair. It was nice being around so many other lions at once. Natural, really and it helped brighten her mood even more than it already was. The lioness would allow Usui to answer the girl's question before she would chime in thoughtfully, "Y'know, we're like a regular pride here! Two lionesses, one lion. Kinda funny that all of us have popped up here." Her words were meant as a sort of joke but when she stopped to think about it... it was like a little pride which caused her heart to flutter a little in joy. Since leaving Maji she had been a little lonely. Her heart ached for the company of others and having a small group of lions here helped it. It wouldn't be the same unless Leon were here but it was something.

"Talking looks like this!"
Thinking looks like this...
The bundle of fur seemed to like him a lot. She dashed-scrambled to his side with oversized paws without a moment’s hesitation and the boy thought for a moment that maybe his magnet power had gone wrong…that instead of attracting metal, he had brought in this white lioness? Usui blinked at the girl curiously and twitched his tail as she took her position beside him – odd, the lion felt, should such a day come when a group of lionesses should crowd him like this although…he wouldn’t deny liking it. Usui looked up to meet Makyna’s eyes and commented, "I guess young ‘uns need some comfort aye, Makyna?” That’s right, it must have been cold and alone out of its chrysalis and so found comfort in being near him. The boy chuckled and ruffled the cub’s head lightly with his paw, already feeling tender-hearted for the child. Although he was not too much older than her, the boy had been through sufficient near-death experiences to escalate his maturity which extended beyond his natural personality.

Makyna seemed more relaxed now compared to back in the cave and Usui thought of asking her if everything was alright, but bit his tongue and looked to Rhone instead. He nodded with a smile as Makyna exclaimed about his newfound pal. Indeed, he took quite a liking to this one. Makyna slid her body down – larger than both of them, for she was nearing adulthood – and Usui heard the young one voice out a question. Usui looked into her pink eyes and replied with a grin. "Y’ lion, y’ same as Maky next time but different colour.” The boy himself lay down, rolled over onto his back for a brief moment and attempted to paw at Rhone playfully, before remembering his dignity and rolling back onto his stomach again.

His friend Makyna spoke then in a rather wistful tone. He let his eyes meet hers – it seemed as though the deep sadness which seeped into her being had not fled. Rather, it seemed suppressed beneath a blanket of memories that could not wash away the one thing that would truly bring her happiness. The boy flicked his ears as she spoke, considering her proposition carefully. One boy two girls. He was…king? He shuddered at the thought and twitched his tail nervously. "Um…I…I believe we should accept all creatures, great or small.” He stuttered a little, then quickly continued to brush away the embarrassment. "But of cus’ we support each other as lions” he finished lamely, then drooped his ears and looked back to Rhone to avoid the embarrassment. A pride. What did he know about that? Origin had all kinds of creatures, were they to split into their own kinds now? Or…was there a larger force at work dropping lions here for a reason?

Usui needed time to think about this. For the moment, he swept aside the topic and looked at Rhone brightly. "Y’ like shiny stuff, yes?” Usui’s jade cuff grew a ghastly black shade, and instantly, the metals around him sang in harmony to his frequency and clasped all around him like an armour. He let go of his magic then and below were the following loot:

- One old rusty metal chain

- One shiny metal ring

- One shiny random concave piece

Usui picked out the ring, which would have been large enough to fit around her arm like a band while she was a cub. "For you, young ‘un. No one better than blacksmith Usui here.” He then nosed the rest to Makyna. "If it interests y' Maky. I can forge something for you from that next time." It'd be impolite if he had not offered the other loots to her. Orion did not really contain much metal but perhaps he could forge something for her with that piece next time.
P. Ky <3 AND Usui!(quix)
Everything would swirl with response. These two cats held her current interest. Should be intimidated, she simply was not! Mak had seemed to have known this U-shi. Knew him rather well. Pink optics darted from each distinct face with receptive hunger. Rhône was functional enough to understand what bonds looked like. Judging silently, she'd hear them utter.

She remained close to the tan boy and eyes locked with transfix. She widened her eyes as her focus poured upon the cub and his.. rather 'tough' and deep voice. So she'd think. Her adoring gaze was no secret. Ears flinched at his speech. She was a what?

Her tongue curved into a roll as preparation so she could attempt to mimic his conclusion.

" I Lion? "

Her voice was sweet and eager to cast smiles upon those green eyes.. She quickly collected her dreamy expression-- reevaluating. Rhône sat her body, seeing Mak slide down onto her belly after commenting on what had involved 'pride'. Not knowing what it meant, she shrugged the concern. Trembling from Mak's blue eyes, she'd stare at the blue crystalline.

" Was' that? "

She'd ask formally. Curiosity leaked from her youthful and sweet face. Her pink nose would flare reflections as she'd just now perceive these.. gems.

Rhône would be in thought, listening to each. One finished and the other started-- a patient task a tolerant cub like herself could do. Suddenly, before her pink eyes, Usui did a show. She gasped, adoring his works of power. Rhône wondered, " I want to learn! " Ears pinned, playful. Her eyes traced every hair as she devoured his image; continuously imprinting.

He found strange items she'd never seen before. He picked one out and her heart raced with repressed excitement and anticipation. What wawas he up to? A bright smile and pink eys twinkled his way. Delight written everywhere.

She held still, allowing him to slip on what had been a ring. Fitting her wrist just right, she immediately pushed against his right shoulder, purring loudly. Her white tail coiled around his forelegs, gentle against his body. Rhône liked him. And Mak too.

Eyes flicked quickly to the lioness as U-shi assessed her. She'd sit now, close to his right side. Purring still, she casually glanced down at the gift with appreciation. Bashfully, she said, "' Thank ya' U-shi.. " Eyes fluttered before she rushed in to lick his chin. Jerking quickly away after, she resumed to listen.

" Talking looks like this. "
' Thinking looks like this.. '

The lioness peered at the two others with a smile on her face as they leaned into each other. The newborn lioness was all into Usui and Makyna couldn't help but think it was adorable. It reminded her of the day she had hatched when she'd cuddled into Leon's fur and they'd shared each other's warmth. Perhaps these two would find comfort in each other like she and Leon had... It seemed very plausible and if they did she wished them all the luck in the world. Happiness and love were things that should be held onto tightly. She'd only wished she had her happiness with her now and that she hadn't ruined it. Through her link she could feel that Leon was alright but she didn't want to pry... If he wanted to be alone then she would completely leave him that way. As much as she could, anyway.

Makyna nodded her head at the young one, yes, they were all lions. Her attention turned to the male when he began to speak, rather nervously. A laugh rang out of Makyna's jaws as she lifted her tail and touched the tuft to Usui's shoulder. "Peace, Usui, I was only joking." She said, laughter in her eyes at his nervousness. "We just look akin to a pride is all. I'm still a part of Maji Walezi, y'know." She lowered her tail back to the ground, allowing her laughter to die down. He sure got nervous easily. Perhaps she should teach him about jokes later.

Makyna waited while Usui questioned the young one but didn't think anything of it. Maybe he wanted to gift her with a gem or something. However, she certainly didn't expect his gem to start glowing and a few items to collect to him. She blinked her eyes in surprise, staring at the items. He gifted a ring to the cub while he offered the other things to her. The rusty metal chain caught her interest... Perhaps she could get Usui to make it into a necklace, then she could decorate it with flowers or something else.

The lioness attempted to use her magic to pick up the chain and succeeded only to overshoot it and have the chain smack her painfully but comically across her face. "Ow!" She said but with amusement in her voice. "I think I'll take this. Thank-you, Usui!" She lowered her head and allowed the chain to fall to the ground at her paws. "Since you're a 'master blacksmith' do you think you could make this into a necklace?" She questioned the male.

"Talking looks like this!"
Thinking looks like this...
Awkward, awkward, awkward, awkward. It was an entirely new feeling to Usui and he barely had the words to describe it as Rhone cuddled up him. The fur along his nape rose involuntarily as he sensed some other feelings that didn’t usually come across to him from other creature who liked cuddles and snuggles. She seemed different and the boy felt his heart stop as she thanked him and licked his chin. "Errrr” he quivered, fangs slightly exposed and neck trembling. His brain froze over and he stared at her wide-eyed. "Is this your…magic?” he ventured, unsure of what Rhone was made up of now. She seemed adorable and cuddly but…urgh! What was this fear? The boy attempted to mentally shake off the feeling that clung to him.

Makyna had replied his comments and made him feel slightly at ease. She was now picking out the rusty chain. It was long, and unjointed, like a loose rattling snake. She asked him a question and the boy grinned and raised his chin just a little higher. "Of ‘cus. Make shiny too. Want any gems inside? What do you see, what necklace do you want? Usui can make.” For some reason, Rhone must have done some magicks that was dabbling up his brain. If he could blush, Usui’s face would have been entirely red. Rather, his tail was now awkwardly curling over Rhone’s little body as though to embrace her but also ready to grab her and move her away from himself. He didn’t know what was going on it seemed so weird.

Makyna laughed at Usui's remark about Rhone's magic but attempted to hide it by coughing. The young cub might have been versed in matters of earth and wise beyond his cycles but he was still lost on matters of the heart apparently. No matter. He would learn eventually.

The lioness stared down at the rusty chain with an image of Leon's large form in her mind's eye. The lioness also imagined the rusty necklace around Leon's neck but rather than the rusty chain it was garnished with orange garnet's the exact same hue of Leon's eyes. Along with the garnet's were blue flowers tied to the necklace to give it a festive, colorful appeal. That's what she wanted and that was the image she pushed into the cub's mind in reply to what she wanted. 'I want that.' She said silently to him. 'Can you do it?' She hoped so, it would make her quite happy to give the bear with this. Perhaps he wouldn't be so upset that she was with Cancer if he saw how much she still loved him.
