ORIGIN

Today was one of Luster's good days.

She found herself trotting around Orion, looking for cave spiders to snack on. But she couldn't seem to find any--had they spread the word about her? Warned the other spiders about The Hunter of The Spiders? Luster hoped not, they were so good. What? They were! They were crunchy and tasty and stuck in her teeth so she had snacks for later on.

"Come out come out wherever you are!" she called out, wagging her tail as she plodded around, shoving her nose under a rock in hopes of finding something but, no, nothing. The hybrid frowned, shaking herself and wondering if she should go find Mama. Mama liked Cave Spiders, maybe she'd help her look? She was awfully hungry after all.

But she didn't want to bother Mama, so she kept looking, discouraged when she couldn't find any. Finally, she whined, eyes widened as a banana appeared suddenly in front of her. Lolling her tongue out, she sniffed it--it wasn't as good as a cave spider, but she was hungry, so she began to eat it, peel and all.

"Sometimes you need a second chance,"
'because you weren't quite ready for the first.'
