Dragon peered down a bit sadly, slowly tilting his head.

"Oooh. Uh, I'm glad nobody's really badly hurt, then. At least, I don't think the cat was." He paused, thinking, then added, "You're not too badly hurt, are you?"

He pawed at his own jaw absently, claws scraping over scales as he tried instinctively and fruitlessly to dull the pain of his burned mouth.

"I think I'm gonna go back to Cetus when I'm done here. I live there. It's a swamp--through the ice-tunnel. There's plenty to eat. Plenty of dark places to hide, too. And lots of water, for swimming. It's where Dad lives. If you ever get in trouble, don't forget, okay?"

He peered up, blinking golden-green eyes at his new brother, hissing slightly to himself from pain again.

"I'm sorry I can't help with the blood-thing, though. Maybe you can find someone who can? If you brought food for Dad maybe you could ask him." Dragon turned, crawling to the water's edge again to sift cool liquid over his burned tongue.

Dragon considered this. He intended to go off for a bit, and once the ponds were abandoned, investigate again on his own. For now, he'd leave, and wait for his brother--and watch from a distance, making sure he got out okay. He was a "dragon," after all--a water creature (clearly) that could lie in ambush (an alligator, really) for hours and hours in utter silence and motionlessness.

So for now, he murmured a goodbye.

"I'll go and let you alone, then. Don't die or anything," he added, by way of friendly warning--the faintest hint of humor in his tone. Then he hauled himself at a slow dragon (alligator) crawl up the banks, and off out of sight through the bushes.

He'd slip back later, but that was another task for another time; for now, he'd wait for Baratheon to leave, before continuing his search.
