Without hints or divine intervention, Aure started feeling just as lost as this odd skeleton. The dizzying amount of meandering got the gears churning yet harder:
But, casting was wearing somewhat heavy on him to try a different method of light-casting. He fell comfortably back on the little flame, sighing it to life and sending it to lie in front of the deer's face a moment. Bright eyes turned elsewhere, briefly gathering his bearings. Tunnel K couldn't be too far from here. Not far at all.
Aure wasn't about to lead this skeleton through every single room in these caves, but he could at least send it on its way. He trudged ahead, toward the crypt's doors, looking back over his shoulder to see if the creature followed his light as expected.

It wasn't long before the thin chill of ghastly mist settled on Aure's chest. Dewdrops formed on his feathers and he paused to shake himself. But, not dissuaded by the grim atmosphere, he made towards Tunnel K's doors.
His pace was a little quicker, now, and he tugged mentally on the ghostlight. Best to make the tunnel travel quick as possible.
Click, click, click, as the hoofbeats echoed into Tunnel K--and then the skeleton, as if recognizing its freedom at last, took three bounding leaps away.
And collapsed.
The bones clattered to the floor, some skidding with the momentum, clattering and spinning, bouncing against the walls. The phosphorescence that had illuminated them briefly seemed to linger: a deer-shaped glow, turning back to Aure, then vanishing entirely.
Aure would feel a breath of magicka whisper past him, imparting knowledge of a spell...
@Aure
Aure started as the creature breezed past him in gleeful, apparently unbound leaps. His breath hitched softly, and as he attempted to remember how breathint worked, the skeleton clattered across the floor. It could have been a trick of the light, but the hybrid swore he saw a glow flickering away from the bones.
Then, along came magic, knowledge of it pushing at his eyes. A hint.
The Bone King simply sat, though, wondering what this meant. He was accompanied by only his thoughts and wisp (which, ironically, had served to guide a wanrerer towards the beaten path, rather than away.)
