Tethys swam into the crystal river, after swimming for her life away from Fornax. The child was tired, and she was looking for Aetius's daughter. Her daughter needed to know what Astraea did. She had to. The masters were dangerous and sketchy, and she knew exactly which gembound to look for. Aetius described her when she gave her that information. That dangerous information. She let out a weak seal bark, deciding to rest for a moment as she floated in the water. Her eyes was open, for she was to wary to sleep.
Zutar walked into Polaris searching for her mother. She simply wanted to ask what she had found out now. Zutar then spotted a seal who looked very wary. She walked to the river, and called out to the child. "Hello, young one. Are you all right? You look as if you saw a monster, a very scary one. What seems to trouble you? My name is Zutar." She cocked her head wondering if the child was ok. The little one also seemed tired. She sat down waiting for the small pup to speak.
Tethys woke up surprisingly to the sound of a stranger's voice. Then when the gembound mentioned her name, Tethys realized she did not have to look any further. The pup started to cry and tears came from her eyes once again. She gave a sad whine towards Zutar before she spoke. "Zutar, the masters are not as noble as you think. Your mother knew a lot as a researcher, and Astraea found out. He....he...he killed your mother Aetius, because she knew too much! He ripped her stone from her chest, and ripped her body apart. I was looking for you, to tell you, to let you know how bad the masters can be. Especially Astraea! You deserve to know, because she was your mother" The pup stopped sobbing, but the tears kept coming.
Zutar's expression became grim, as she listened to the child. The way the child was crying, she knew she was telling the truth. Her mother, killed by Astraea for knowing too much? No, HE HAD NO RIGHT. Though Zutar knew there was nothing she could do to avenge her mother's death. At least for the moment. Zutar suddenly saw the masters, Astraea especially, as her sworn enemy. Her voice shook as she spoke to the child gently. The child did not deserve to see a gembound's stone ripped from their body. Astraea was a monster, and that was her final desicion of him. "Don't cry. What is your name dear?" She gave the pup a moment to collect herself.
"My name is Tethys. I met your mother not too long ago before her death. I'm sorry! I couldn't do anything, Aetius had to save me with her life!" Tethys said no more as she dipped her head in the water to remove the tears. It was a rough moment for her, but Zutar obviously felt more pain. She could also see the anger on Zutar's face, for what Astraea had done to a mere child. "Astraea also threatened to kill me." She said the last sentence quietly.
Zutar choked back some severe anger, but spoke gently to the poor child. "Listen, just stay away from the masters. Stay in the water, to keep yourself safe. I will find you in Fornax every now and then to check on you. And Tethys. Thank you for telling me what that bastard monster has done. That was very brave of you. Please do not cry. I know that was rough to see. Stay in Polaris, and if you see Astraea again, just swim far, far away. You will be alright young one." She stood on her feet as she said her goodbyes to the child. "Goodbye Tethys, I promise to see you soon."

-Exit Zutar
Tethys watched as Zutar left. The seal pup hoped that Zutar would feel better soon. When Tethys could no longer see Zutar, she swam away herself. Astraea was a monster, and she would never think anything else of him. He didn't deserve it.
