Nemean was already buzzing away from the area of her mirage when Raheerah bellowed her name, taking the bait and destroying the illusion in a burst of fiery rage. She had just enough time to turn on her side and snap her fingers at his destruction, her illusion exploding in fireworks and the awful, clanging sound of instruments falling over and being destroyed.
Her little fists were clenched close to her chest as she hurried back to her home, hoping the mockery had bought her enough time to snatch Dawa's moonstone from her pile of treasures and zip away from it just as quickly. Nemean was a lot faster than the chaos beast, but unfortunately he was already spinning around by the time she exited her home. He'd be looking for her now that he knew she was here, so she needed to buy herself some sort of immunity—and as she clutched the moonstone between two tiny paws, she hoped that would be enough to quell him.
"OVER HERE BIG GUY," she projected, continuing to move away from her den as she alerted Raheerah with big flashing signs that pointed to her, and more specifically, to the moonstone she held high above her head. The signs multiplied, bursting into neon light with strange markings etching their way into the air, an old language that read: "OVER HERE!", "PRICELESS MOONSTONE!", "RARE TREASURE!" And just as quickly as they had appeared, the signs popped and cracked and exploded in a show of light and confetti.
With a fire to her tail (probably literally), Nemean zipped down toward the myriad of destroyed buildings, flitting between them to both periodically hide or show herself, and also to just simply annoy the dragon. She passed several hiding gembounds, but did not notice who they might have been. All she wanted to do now was cause more destruction—maybe to the gembounds!—and make Raheerah work for his prize. Not that it was worth anything now...
