Aquamarine continued to keep quiet as she stuck close to Orlaith and Zelk. This was the first time she saw Orlaith's ferocity. But what she saw was nothing compared to what she would do if Orlaith felt that Pallas had double crossed them. She trusted Pallas, but maybe that was because mother was controlling her against her will. If Orlaith had known about that, Pallas may have not lived to see light again. Still, as Pallas turned away, and Tethys did as well, Lamia dove back into the water, swimming forward powerfully and swiftly. Tethys would have no need to slow down - she was just as fast, if not a faster swimmer then her quickly taking a lead towards the tunnels that led to Cetus.
