After meeting Deli, Indelia traveled around for a bit.

It almost felt as though things around her seemed to be changing. She couldn't be certain, but occasionally she'd here snippets, lines of a conversation before she would move on. She didn't put much thought into them, instead just stepping away and disregarding anything she had heard.

For a brief moment, she thought about finding some feathers to return to Deli with. She still wanted to dye her fur, maybe a nice bright pink color, but a couple of cycles had passed since then and she wouldn't even know where to find them. Maybe one day she'll look for feathers. Or maybe find out that spell for herself, so she wouldn't even need them. She was almost positive she had annoyed them, though they hadn't exactly made it obvious. Still, she wasn't sure if she should trust them to draw on her fur.

For now, Indelia found herself wandering Polaris. Something about it seemed a little off, but she couldn't place her paw on it. So she ignored it and just walked. And walked. And walked. She wasn't even sure where she was going, she just let her paws lead her there.

She wondered how many gembounds were in this cave. Or in all the other caves, for that matter. She's lived here for so long, and yet she's only met a few others. Every moment she spent walking around, not talking to anyone else, she felt was time wasted. It almost felt as though she were just waiting for her life to begin.

Speech. Thought.

Esther was wandering, like normal. It seemed to be a common occurrence in the maned wolf's life. They were still growing to their adult size, but their proportions were becoming odd like normal for their species. Esther's legs were elongating, neck ruff almost fully grown. The entirety of the creature was pretty much fully grown, they just had a little bit left to go. They were impatient. Grow faster! They would demand themselves. Once they were fully grown, they could finally figure out how their fire magic worked correctly. Learn more skills, catch entire areas on fire. Typical for the young leggy creature.

Initially, Esther had not noticed the feline walking in the same direction as themselves. Though they had noticed when their dark eyes swept the area to see what was in it. The room was pretty, and Esther found it to be a place that didn't need to burn to look nice. Moving to the feline creature, Esther barked out a greeting. Though it was more of a roaring sound than a bark.

@Indelia

Indelia was still walking when a sound startled her. It was loud and completely unexpected. It made her jump, and she whirled around.

Not far behind her was another gembound. She stared at them and their long legs a little warily, shifting her paws slightly. This creature had startled her, but she did feel desperate for some sort of contact with anything besides her own thoughts.

"Uh...hello?" She eyed them for a bit, wondering if they were also just looking for someone to talk to or if they had different intentions. "What's your name? I'm Indelia." They seemed harmless, at least.

Speech. Thought.

@Esther
Esther was happy when the feline actually looked back and gave them some form of attention. They found interacting with the other creatures to be rather fun- especially the ones that looked considerably odd in appearance. With poise, Esther walked forward on their spindly legs that would still be growing with a small bit of time. Esther didn't have long until they were fully grown and incredibly tall on their odd looking proportions.

"I'm Esther! What'r you doin?" They asked the feline.

@Indelia

Indelia flicked an ear as the creature responded. Esther...An interesting name, she supposed. Though perhaps it was as normal as any other name. She didn't exactly have a lot to go off of. And then they were asking her what she was doing. She frowned a little. She wasn't exactly doing much, just wandering the caves, boring as it was starting to become.

"Just...wandering around. Exploring the caves. Talking to you, now." A slight pause. "What about you? What are you doing?"

Speech. Thought.

@Esther
Esther's eyes watched as the other creature frowned. Had they done something wrong? Did the feline not wanna talk? Tilting their head to the side, Esther wondered why the cat seemed so.... sad? Was that the right word? The wolf-like creature didn't understand.

"Explorin'! And also talkin' to you!"
