Achievements!
You guys voted on it, and now its here! Achievements have been added to member profiles; there, you can find a collection of achievement icons that each user has accumulated! There is one icon that every character will have, assuming they have made at least one attempt: the Mage/Brawler/Tactician achievements. These achievements are distributed to characters based on what kind of attempts they use the most: spell casting, physical combat, or other. Every other achievement is listed on the brand new Achievements page in the Guidebook! There, you can check and see if you can redeem any of the listed achievements. There's quite a few, and we're always adding more! You can claim your achievements in the Update Me! thread. We'd like to thank Briar and Dark for helping to make these achievement icons!Quest: The Carvings
The lichens and moss filling in the carvings in Tunnel I have finished growing; they show a mysterious image that seems to require more information than what is given. However, it doesn't seem like there's anybody around that can provide any more information. While this quest is now complete, characters are encouraged to visit the carvings and examine them to the best of their ability.New Quest: The Fiery Pit
A mysterious pit has been discovered in the depths of Monoceros. It is hidden among the gorges and home to two very strange, slumbering creatures... will your characters attempt to explore the pit, or observe from afar? Will they try to rouse the creatures or steal the treasures they guard?Contest: It Takes A Village
We have a brand new contest up and running, and this time we're focusing on Origin Cave's groups! You'll have to work together with your groupmates, or form a new group, in order to complete some very special and unique tasks. The winners will receive something incredibly special - a skin featuring the participating characters of that group, avatars, and Magicka! And if the winning group isn't an official group in Origin Cave, you'll have the option to make it one! So what are you waiting for? Go and enter the contest - you'll have until July 4th to enter your characters into a group!More New Spells
A handful of new spells have been discovered! Characters can now use their Magicka to learn...
Weave - A Plant spell that will allow users to entwine plant fibres into living flesh.
Shard Storm - An Earth spell that whips up a whirlwind of sand and compresses it into sharp glass shards that can slice an opponent.
Absorb Nutrients - A Non-Elemental spell that will allow users to gain nutrition from substrates such as dirt, water, or biological material. FennecFyre, Dark and This One can head on over to the Magicka Market to claim ʡ100 for their winning spells! Congratulations guys!

A pack of raptor-like Gembounds have appeared in the tunnel, following the scent of a wounded Usui. Leon, Usui, Bevy and Giggle face off against the four raptors, culminating in several wounds all around and lots and lots of fire. Fortunately, the group of Gembounds are able to scare the raptors off, but who knows where they'll strike next?
are you my mother?
While searching for his brother, Wynry is found by Deer Dad. The stag helps the little lamb find his brother, only for Svarog the Yeti to come lumbering in carrying his brother, Vazi, and another Gembound, Arkrael! Nobody knows why Svarog had decided to save Vazi and Arkrael, who had previously been fighting off a hoard of golems. All we know is that it was pretty awesome of him, and maybe he's not so bad after all. Just ignore the fact that he killed Deus or whatever.
A Pile Of Awesome
Dragon has been building a rather large pile of decaying bodies as a sacrifice to Aquarian. He meets a crow named Eve, and the two of them engage in an invigorating conversation about magic and poop.
CRUNCHY MUNCHY BONES
There's a strange new Gembound in the cave, and he has three heads! Kerberos barges into Canis and finds a large pile of bones, only Hyena Mom won't let him have them. Did we mention that Hyena Mom (aka Giggle) is so badass that she manages to somehow fight and tame a brutal, three-headed dog? Because she is, and she does. It's all in all a pretty great thread to read.
