Erzu was busy ravaging a honey ant nest and eating the calorie filled ants that came from it. Not only that, she struck a prize. There was plenty of larvae in the nest, so that meant more tasty calories. She used her long sticky tongue to slurp up the tasty insects, and her claws to get deeper into the mound. Honey ants were her favorite, because unlike other ants, their abdomens were pack full honey, and other nutrients. their abdomens were swollen, and that made them taste better. Not only was Erzu having a good meal, but she had plenty of escape underground tunnels scattered throughout the caves. So if danger came looking for her, they wouldn't be able to follow her underground. Now though, she ate contently, eating her fill of the nest.

The pigeon was wandering all the time, looking for pretty places to come back to later. This place, would be one of those areas that they would come back to when they had fully grown their wings and were able to fly. Though, they still liked the ground a lot more than the air- right now, anyway. Though Rain wasn't sure if there would ever be a time where they liked the air than the ground. The ground was a lot more stable- you could walk, and had no danger for crashing your head into the ground.

Walking on thin bird legs, Rain watched something a bit in the distance. Munching on some kind of insects. Now, Rain ate those themselves, but the kind of insects this creature was eating left a strange aftertaste in their mouth.

Rain chirped to get the attention of the other creature.

Erzu heard the small chirp of a small bird directed toward her. She paused her meal, and took a glance at the creature who called out to her. It was some kind of bird. Erzu nodded in the bird's direction, speaking to it kindly. "Hello. I am Erzu, an aardvark. What's your name?" She would then continue to slurp up ants, but her ears were perked up, showing she was listening. It was fun to mess up ant and termite nests, and even better to eat the insects and larvae that came with it. She paid attention to what the bird had to say. She was too hungry to stop eating.

Rainstorm watched what she now knew what called an Aardvark. An odd looking creature- the animal had a long nose and an even longer tongue. Mostly for eating those pesky bugs, she assumed. "I'm Rainstorm!" She chirped, not really relaying what kind of animal she was at first. A bird was a bird either way, right? Though it only would be kind to say her type after the other one did. "I'm a Victoria Crowned Pigeon." She finally added.

It... was kind of gross to watch the Aardvark eat the bugs. Granted she ate bugs herself, the tongue of the creature was just uncanny.
