ORIGIN - Ignorance Is Bliss [Emerging!]

The calm warmth, and then the light. It all happened so fast when the chrysalis opened to reveal a noodle-like creature. Bathed in snake-like markings but leaking some strange substance from parts of its body that smelt oddly gross, the noodle blinked all six of its eyes at different times. Looking around the area that it was situated upon. It was covered in rocks and trees, and Sniffles couldn't help but feel blissful at their discovery. Right from the chrysalis and found something beautiful!

Despite the fogs and wet ground of the area, the place wasn't disgusting in the slightest if anything, it boosted what the hybrid liked about the area. Absolutely curious, the noodle began to wander around the trenches that jutted into the ground really- this specific part was really spiky, but the areas around it would prove to be something more.

If they could get there, that is.

Their small legs wouldn't push up their body, but they were there, and they worked. Dragging themselves back to the dark chrysalis that they had emerged from, the noodle began to stare at the strange legs on their body. If they couldn't lift, why were they there? And all of the goop- oh how strange it was. Their body was confusing, but Sniffles didn't hate it. It was unique, strange, and everything about it was absolutely interesting!

Septiezal raced back to the nest as soon as he caught a whiff of rot. The infected smelled like carcasses and he feared that the Hive had claimed his offspring in his absence.

The serpent spilled into the trench, his long, black coils stretched the its entire length. The onyx chrysalis had been broken, trails of vile, black sludge stringed to and from it. For a moment, Septiezal thought, with horror, that something had killed it. Then he remembered Phlegethon had the same strange slime that dead gembounds melted into. Stretching his neck, he peer over at the other side. Carefully, he tilted the chrysalis with his claw, tongue flicking. The stench hit him like boulder.

Septiezal fought the urge to gag.

However, upon seeing six, bright, ruby red eyes and the snout of a snake, his heart fluttered with joy. "Are you okay, little one?" He asked.

When sniffles came back, there was a larger snake fiddling about with the thing that they had come out of. The other noodly creature also had many eyes and Sniffles themselves resembled the other one quite a bit in some ways. The hybrid blinked all six eyes in differing times once again, to keep an eye on the other at all times. Flicking their tongue, Sniffles caught a whiff of that sludge that was on their body. And oh how gross it smelled. Sniffles was most surely alive! Alive.... and very smelly.

The hybrid moved closer to the other, finding solace in a familiar shape. The goop that secreted from their body was practically covering everything by now, the ground, their own body, really, for anyone it would be an unusual sight. Almost as if the creature had rolled in something dead for fun and got it everywhere. Alas, that was not the case. Opening their mouth to speak, the noodle tried greatly to not get the substance in their mouth.

"Okay!" They repeated back.
