It seemed like it had been forever since Majesty had been anywhere outside of Tunnel I. He had been recuperating from his fight between Fisher and Azazel, and had spent the better part of a month doing not much other than sleeping. He didn’t even have any company, really. Both Farrah and Hen seemed to have vanished some time ago, and this saddened him. He feared his hastily-made pack would soon vanish, too. He could not have a pack of one, after all. That’s not how packs worked. Packs had to have other members in order to be packs. It seemed he was back to being by himself. But even though he was sad about, he didn’t mind as much as he thought he might.

The fight, and the time spent recuperating, had sort of changed his personality once again. Instead of being insane like had been before, as an after-effect of going blind, now he was much more calm about things. The idea of starting another fight disgusted him, and he saw no reason for it. In fact, he had half a mind to track down both Fisher and Azazel (not that he knew their names) and apologize to them. But that would probably have to wait a bit…

To pass the time, he took ahold of his Magic, wondering if he was yet healed enough to properly cast spells again. He released the Magic into a Light Spell, attempting to create a small rainbow before him, and it seemed to work a little. It flickered and went out after a few seconds, and was not as beautiful as it could have been (partly because of the wolf’s visual impairment), but he smiled nonetheless. At the moment, any small pleasure was good enough for him.
Paws slowly traveled through the tunnel, moving with the grace of leisure. She was in no hurry. A smile set upon her muzzle as her tail swayed behind her. Her travels in Polaris had been called to a pause as Arkrael had finally saw fit it was due time to head on home and check on the place. Eridanus. She could spot the dark entrance furthest away from her. It seemed intimidating when she had been younger, but now it held the pathway to her destination. Arkrael let out a content sigh as she could just smell the familiar scent that belonged to Eridanus. As she took in a deep breath through her nose, testing the scents that belonged to the Tunnel itself a new scent suddenly clouded her mind.

Hers pricked up instantly as her tail instinctively began to raise up. Heterochromia eyes moved, searching the area for the thing that this new scent belonged to. It had a familiar touch to it, but it was still completely unfamiliar. When she could not spot the creature with her eyes, Arkrael set her magic to work. Her opal gently vibrated to life, humming ever so softly as it's magic began to course all throughout Arkrael. The sensation soon struck her. Filling her with the knowledge that there was indeed another gembound in the Tunnel. There was no hesitation in her step as she began the slow travel towards the direction she had felt the gem in.

It wasn't long before she came across him either. Multi-colored eyes moved over the form of the fellow canine and her interest soon peaked. He was a wolf! A grin ghosted over her features for a small moment before it vanished just as quickly as it had appeared. She took a few more confident steps towards the brute. In fact, the more she thought about it the more familiar he was becoming to her. She did not know of him, nor knew his name, but he had been at the games that Wynry had hosted some time ago. She came closer until she was as close as she felt comfortable getting to the brute and then simply lowered herself down to sit upon her haunches. "Hey," She barked at him, a gentle tone in her voice. She did not want to alarm him as it seemed like he had been concentrating on something, so she was unsure if he had even known of her approach.

The spell cast had actually quite exhausted Majesty, much to his surprise. Most of his smaller wounds were healed by now, so he hadn’t expected this sudden drop in energy just from one relatively easy spell. Still, he was content with his progress, so he let his chin drop onto his paws, expecting to fall asleep any second now. He was determined not to cause his body anymore stress while he was healing, because the moment he was able, he wanted to go exploring all over the Caves once again. Things were happening around him that he did not know about because he had to heal. And he had to heal because of a completely pointless fight he had started. He was never going to fight again if he had any say in the matter.

He was just drifting off when a calm voice wafted through the air at him. He had not noticed the she-wolf’s approach, having been tired, but he raised his head and smiled at her in greeting. Had she wanted to hurt him, she would have done so already, when she’d had the advantage of surprise. The fact that she had nothing of the sort clued him into the fact that she wasn’t here to make his life miserable. So he very easily gave her a smile and let his tail thump on the ground a few times.

“Hello,” he said, voice warm and smooth. “A fellow wolf, I see. And what brings you to this part of the Cave?” He forced himself to sit up, wincing a tiny bit in pain. “You’ll have to forgive me if I suddenly lie down again. I… did something stupid about a month ago and now I am… paying for it with my body. Heh.” He flashed a sheepish grin, and was then silent.
Upon first glance Arkrael would not have noticed that this canine had been injured. Her body fully relaxed as his voice came out with a particular warmth to it. A small smile twitched at the corners of her muzzle as she listened to him speak of it. She couldn't imagine what he may have gotten himself into, but she could relate even just by a sliver. Her body had been sore for days after her encounter with the Golems and Vazi. Of course that was due to the fact her magic had backfired on her. "I will not be offended if you do need to lay back down," She spoke kindly as her tail lightly thumped against the ground only a couple times before it rested back down motionlessly along her side.

Her gaze flitted up towards the entrance that led back to Eridanus in a thoughtful way, pondering over his inquiry of her being in the tunnel. She had spent enough time traveling through this particular tunnel, but she suppose she had never really stopped to have a look around. Finally she turned her gaze back to the chocolate wolf and gave a half grin. "I was on my way home, actually. " She finally answered as she shifted a moment to get an itch at her side. After she managed to get the itch to go away Arkrael settled down and now studied the gem upon this wolf's chest. Funny. she was meeting several gembounds whom had a similar location for their gem as she did. "Do you live in this tunnel? My calling is Arkrael by the way," She hummed thoughtfully as she lifted her gaze up to study his own.

Majesty gave a grateful and tired smile and sank back to the ground, giving his weary limbs a rest. Not that he’d been doing much else but resting for the past few weeks, but he still had a few serious injuries that needed time to heal properly. If he pushed himself too hard he was going to end up opening burns and maybe infecting them. He didn’t even want to think about that. He was determined to keep his eyes open at this moment, though. Ever since he had fallen asleep in that massive gathering in Eridanus some time ago, he was embarrassed by the thought of falling asleep while in the presence of others. It was a silly fear, but he had it nonetheless.

His ears perked when Arkrael (an interesting name) spoke of living in Eridanus. He wondered if maybe she herself had a pack. She was a wolf like him, after all. He was about to ask her if she was a part of a group, but she beat him to it with her own question. Did he live in this tunnel? “Yes,” he said, looking up at her from his position on the ground. “I once had a small pack, of myself and two others. However, recently, the others seem to have… mm… vanished? I’m not sure what to think about it. But it seems I’ve gone back to living by myself.” He gave a small sigh. “I am prone to loneliness. I don't take well to staying in a place like this on my own. But it seems I have no choice. I cannot move very far away until I am fully healed, which will take another week or two. And when I am fully healed, I’ve no idea where I’ll go…”

Awkwardly, he realized he was making this all about him, ears flattening back against his head. “Forgive me,” he chuckled, smiling a bit. “I am not asking for pity, simply rambling…”
Audits perked in attention as Majesty spoke his words. It was intriguing to hear that this wolf had established himself a pack. For a moment she wondered where his other packmates could have gone. Origin was large, sure, but there were only several other places they really could have gone. "Well, I call Eridanus home, but it is certainly no more mine, than it would belong to another," She spoke thoughtfully, chuckling lightly and disregarding his apology. There was no need for it, but she would not remark on it either. The idea of claiming Eridanus as her own territory had weighed heavily upon her mind, but there was no one she was particularly close with outside of Tamelyn and Vazi. Tamelyn she knew had her own agenda and plans and Arkrael would not step in the way of that just to form something that she could not even promise would last a life time. Eridanus was still her home however and she would respond accordingly should anyone dare to attempt harm towards the place.

"Were you born in these tunnels?" Her curiosity was sudden and she turned her heterochromia eyes towards Majesty once again. It didn't really sink in as to why someone would make a tunnel their 'packlands'. Not unless it had significant meaning to the Alpha. Much like how Eridanus meant to her. In her mind, she would always be the top Alpha in Eridanus whether other's viewed herself as such or not. It was her territory by mind and eventually maybe some day she would lay claim properly to it. For now, though, she would just continue to keep an eye on it.

Majesty listened with perked ears as Arkrael spoke a little about herself. About how Eridanus was a place she called her home, just as he called these tunnels home. They were lonely and cold and the floor was hard, but he loved them all the same. She asked if he had been born here, and he smiled in return. “Yes, in fact, I was. It was quite an interesting first day…” He chuckled as he remembered his encounter with Zorrak. “I ran into quite the little pest, though he turned out to be nice enough, once I taught him some manners.”

He glanced around afterwards, fishing for something to talk about, since he loathed being rude. His eyes landed upon the she-wolf’s Stone. It was pretty and shone different colors in the light. “I like your Stone,” he said, smiling in a friendly manner.

OOC: Sorry it's short. D: I didn't know what else to say??
Arkrael tilted her head thoughtfully as he spoke of another. She laughed at his comment of teaching the gembound a lesson, however, and gave Majesty a grin. "At least he had learned," Arkrael's tail gave a friendly wag where it had once been resting, but it had soon settled back down against her side. Her ears perked when he gave a comment about her stone and she instantly turned her gaze down, turning her head a little bit to get a better look at her stone. Or, at least as much as she could see of it from that angle.

She smiled fondly as she lifted her paw and rested her pawpad against the smooth gem. She had been very fond of her gem. "Thank you. I'm very fond of it, honestly," Sure other gembounds probably felt the same about their gems as she did. However, she did not assume that they could honestly hear the gem's like she could. Every time she used her magic it came to life, Vibrating through her chest that would soon emit a gentle humming to her ears. It was soothing, relaxing in the fact that she had always heard such things even when she was slumbering inside of her Chrysalis. She had slept peacefully to the vibrations of the Earth all around her and even now part of her had missed hearing the sounds constantly.

Shaking her thoughts away, Arkrael lifted her gaze back up to Majesty and set another smile at him. "I like your stone as well. I don't think I have seen one colored as yours is," She couldn't see his stone now, but she had certainly seen it when he had first sat up.

Majesty smiled when Arkrael lifted a paw and placed it on her Stone. She was obviously quite fond of it, which she confirmed with her own words a few seconds later. She looked down at it almost like a mother staring down at her baby. His smile only grew. He thought it was great that she felt so fond of her Stone, for he felt the same way about his, though he didn’t think about it much. He could feel it, though, when he accessed his Magic. Like a constant thrumming that vibrated throughout his body, starting in his chest. Every time he felt it, it was a comfort. It was a reassurance that his Magic was still there.

She commented that she liked his Stone also, and he thanked her. “I rather like the orange against the brown of my fur,” he said, unaware that that made him sound incredibly vain. He was vain. He just didn’t know it. He always had been. It came with the territory of wanting to be a leader. You had to be a little bit vain to think about wanting to lead others. Otherwise you would think someone else was better for the job. Of course, now that his own meager pack had disbanded, his vanity was slipping a little. But he could still think himself handsome, couldn’t he?
Arkrael watched him for a moment as he spoke of his gem. It did have a peculiar way of standing out pleasantly against his chocolate fur that was for sure. She grinned for a moment before her ears perked forward again. If he was having a hard time moving around, then did that mean he was not eating as he should be? "Say, are you hungry?" She inquired curiously as her tail tip bounced up a couple of times next to her side. It would be no hard task for her to go find something to eat for him if he was hungry, nor would it be of any problem. "If you are, it would be no trouble for me to go catch you something," She offered an inviting smile as she shifted the way she was sitting. She loved to hunt. It always had come natural to her, but then again it really should have. She was, after all, a wolf.
