DAY 12
Corruption: FOURTEEN.
He'd been neglecting his duties. There were places to be, people to meet, and minds to corrupt. The latter, though, he failed at, only managing to bring in Venus and Ultraviolet. A shame, really, but when he looked to the minuscule being, he found his interest sparked again.
They hadn't left. So, they heard the whispers, too. The Black Dog had come and gone, but in his place was a white stone, one Purity sniffed at gingerly.
He'd wait here for a moment. Just a moment. Just a minute, he told himself- his eyes closed as he tilted his head back.
In truth, his body sat there for an hour at the very least, absorbing the whispers before he left once more.
[ purity will be going between this thread and
one in canis for hunting daily. ]

DAY 13
Corruption: NINETEEN.
They'd started speaking more to him, the whispers curling around him while he hunted in Canis. Still, he begged for their voices to make sense. Their intentions were clear. Eat the black. Pray at the altar. And yet, his body tensed at the thought of it still- what of the power that altar carried? Would this deliver it to him?
His nostrils flared as he reentered the altar. The dog was still out. Not much had changed.
He inhaled, softly, tail flicking as he sat for the whispers, struggling once more to decipher their language.

DAY 17
Corruption: TWENTY-FOUR.
He'd looked to the canine when his face came in adorned with reverse-gold, Purity's own false white pupils tracking him the entire time. What was it with canines being attracted to the altar? Inhaling deeply, he turned his head to lick down a matted piece of fur, paying no mind to Max.
It was a wonder that the two of them haven't spoken, yet, but Purity would ignore any advances to simply listen to the spirits that coalesced around this place.

DAY 19
Corruption: TWENTY-NINE.
He was there alright, and he perked his ears when the canine had come in. Perhaps he should talk to it sometime? Not when the whisperes were so loud, though- not while he still studied the altar.
"What's your name, dog?" He broke the silence as he came close to the dog next time he saw it, waiting patiently in this crack of the world for answers. For power.

Esther had been wandering, long legs following the sounds of other voices. There were creatures inside the dark place, voices ringing through of introductions. But there was also something else there. Something that the maned wolf couldn't get their mind off of. Voices of things in their ears but there was nothing there when they turned their head. It was spooky, really.
But the long legged creature continued on.
"Anyone in here?" They called out, despite knowing there had to be something inside.
