Sheng lay comfortably in a large muddy patch somewhere within eridanus, enjoying the relaxation and calm that burying himself within the dirt and mud brought, taking in the scent of dirt and nature around him. he hummed, overall uncaring of the rest of the world around him.

he stretched, yawning as he wriggled in the mud, slapping his tail against it playfully.

I'll spend forever flyin', I'll be singin' to the sky

She was close, perched in a tree nearby, hugging her knees as she balanced a little precariously on a branch, wings open behind her to hold her balance. She watched the creature below, playing in the mud, as if it didn't care that it was covered with grime. She blinked and tilted her head, watching curiously as it played happily and carefree.

Why were there so many strange creatures in this cave? She had not gone far, not having stepped outside of Eridanus quite yet, but still, all manner of strange creatures came in and out of this forested cave. Attikias, himself, called himself an enigma - very few like him that stood on two legs existed. And it seemed that this one was at least different from them. ...Very different.

She held herself there, wings moving slightly every so often, as she watched this creature play in the mud, content to sit and observe from afar, a small smile playing across her lips.

after a moment, he seemingly grew tired of the mud. He yawned, rolling over, giving a slight glance to the trees and ferns around him. he wiggled, standing up and stretching, shaking the mud off and out of his fur.

he looked around again, up at the trees, catching a glimpse of something. another gembound, perhaps?
"HELLO! is anyone there?" he hummed "hmm..". he sat, pondering, waiting for any sort of reply, moving a finger around in the mud.

When the gembound called out, Angela flinched. She let out a small gasp and instinctively tried to stand, throwing off her balance. She fell backwards with a cry, slipping right off of the tree branch and crashing into the ferns below. The undergrowth of Eridanus cushioned her fall, but she still gritted her teeth when her wings banged painfully against the ground and sticks and branches poked uncomfortably against her body as she landed in the bushes.

She was there for a moment, groaning, before scrambling out of the plants, wings flaring and flapping to get her on her feet. She brushed off her arms, noticing small scratches covering her skin, a couple of them bleeding. "Ow," she complained, pressing her hand against the most painful of the bruises, sucking in a breath through her teeth.

He ran over, as he saw her crash into the shrubbery, concern in his eyes. "oh goodness, you alright? what were ya doin in the tree? your feathers okay?" he asked, practically rambled.
"dirt aint the comfiest fall cushion, 'specially in Eridanus." he pointed out, waddling closer, mud still coating some of his fur and scales.
