This thread is for a kill attempt for the Collector! As such, SilverWinter and I have outlined some conditions for whether or not this is successful...
The kill attempt'll progress in three stages:
Stage One - Alpha must roll a success to chase Viola if she attempts to flee, or otherwise knock her off of her feet. Viola rolling successes to resist negates any of Alpha's successes, and if Alpha fails a chase roll while Viola succeeds, she escapes.
Stage Two - Alpha must roll a success to pin Viola once caught and continue to roll successes as long as she resists and struggles with her own successes, or else the attempt reverts back to Stage One.
Stage Three - Alpha must roll a success to deliver a killing bite or blow to Viola. If it fails, the attempt reverts back to Stage Two and it must attempt to keep her pinned or restrained before trying again.
(If... there's broken bones or something, this might have to be edited lol)

Its breath was wafting up with every exhale, spiralling like it were in one of the icier tunnels or braving a magically chilled Hydra; and yet, there was condensation forming on its carapace and adding an uncomfortable amount of weight to its quills. The humidity wasn't actually that bad, but for a beastie acclimated to the bareen dryness of Tunnel P and Canis, this was almost torturous.
As a result, it was a fair bit more cantankerous than usual. Even with its mane slicked down a bit, it was pricking, twitching. Tension rode high through its frame, each step in its steady, consistent gait a stomp. Alpha most certainly looked like an asshole with a stick up its ass, and it was well-aware of that. It even gave a few huffs and clicks of its jaws, just warning something to approach it while it made its way towards... wherever this direction went - towards a distant hum was all that it knew.
Ugh.
