The Valley by The Oh Hellos reminds me so much Origin and its uncovered lore :3c
Plus it sounds like theme song material
We were born in the valley of the dead and the wicked
That our father's father found
And where we laid him down
We were born in the shadows of the crimes of our fathers
Blood was our inheritance
No, we did not ask for this
Will you lead me?
We were young when we heard you call our names in silence
Like a fire in the dark
Like a sword upon our hearts
We came down to the water and we begged for forgiveness
Shadows lurking close behind
We were fleeing for our lives
Will you lead me?

i forgot that i was gonna make an origin animatic for this song but i don't remember much about what it entailed
other than like.. the hard tinks with people carving and someone coming through and just snuffing out a rebellion in a snap with magic
and just the banding together of working in the caves of oldrigin is just OGH
anyways i love this song
[ i got pressured to actually join the raffle because a. anyways i suppose please roll me cj despite previous mentionings- ]

I don't have any songs that fit the ~vibe~ Origin has at least, not ones that haven't already been put in here but i do have a character with a ton of theme songs.
Li's theme song playlist can be found here. It's got a lot of songs sdfghjk some fit when she was younger, others from when she's older.

There will come a ruler
Whose brow is laid in thorn
Smeared with oil like David's boy, o lei o lai o lord
O lei, o lai, o lei, o lord
Smeared with oil like David's boy, o lei o lai o lord
O lei, o lai, o lei, o lord
He will tear your city down, o lei o lai, o
This verse, in particular, gave me server vibes, with all the lore being so centered on various rulers, princes, and royalty! Plus this is one of my favorite songs too-

This gives me some Origin vibes, not really sure why though.

honestly tho, same as Snail
I feel like the style of the band just kind of captures what's happening in the cave

I think I'll be the weeb in the room and offer a Japanese song that has an english translation that I can actually see fitting well with like, the history of origin, way back in the past when everyone was essentially a slave.
Akatsuki no Requiem by Linked Horizon
An English translation of some of the lyrics:
Why did the earth and the sky separate?
This world is so beautiful, yet so cruel.
Those who threw stones and those who were hit by them,
Between them is a fence that cannot be easily overcome.
If positions change, Justice shall reveal it's fangs.
Is it's roar also trapped within a cage?
I dedicated my heart with my back turned to the twilight.
Towards the end of night that kept on going forward.

Please pardon my dust I'm formatting-
But this is something my friend showed me and when I was trying to think of songs I knew that fit the current vibe in Origin's history... or what's being written now I mean.
The Times They Are A-Changin'
Original by : Bob Dylan
The Cover That I like By : Lia Rose
Come gather 'round, people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin'
And you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'
Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'
Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
The battle outside ragin'
Will soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'
Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is rapidly agin'
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'
The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is rapidly fadin'
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'
Please pardon my dust I'm formatting-
