At least he could stare at marvel at the Spire from afar. He kind of wanted to carve it but it'd be basic, and he couldn't make things float, so what was the point if he couldn't get accuracy? No, instead, he'd watch it float in silence before stepping away, arms folded behind him and under the dual straps of his bag and spear.
The fungi were rather interesting. Well- lots of things were interesting, yeah, and he kicked at an errant rock as he idly thought about nothing. A dappled blue played across his tattooed arm as he trailed the clicking pebble down the path he was taking. Another kick, and it was sent out of his way. He could make a game out of this, but he wasn't particularly in the mood for that.
Instead, he trailed the rock and picked it up, looking over its porous, flaky outside before stuffing it in his bag. Even if it wasn't special it was neat enough for him to keep.
Readjusting his various effects, he sat down against the cave wall to watch the Spire's rocks floating in the air, drawing his knees up to himself.
(eff i did mean to use resourceful but someone decided not to work (it was me))
