Venti felt their eyes growing heavy. A long and exciting day had left them exhausted, so they hugged Forgraves one more time with a tired smile and a yawn.
"Venti tired." They said simply, followed by another yawn. They smiled at Forgraves one last time before turning and heading closer to where they emerged from their chrysalis. The shattered pieces on the ground crackling softly as they walked over the remains of the formation that housed their body earlier in the day.
They looked up at the towering mushroom before slinking off into the grass and ferns to find a place to rest. They'd need to find a proper place to sleep later, a place to call home, but for now a resting spot would suffice.
They glanced over their shoulder one final time before shouting, "Thank you, Graves! Good friend! See again soon!" Before they disappeared in the tall grass and greenery of the cavern.

He nodded, smiling at the hug, returning it. "venti sleep!" he chirped. he watched venti wander off, a little sad his friend had to leave, but was tired himself.
"friend welcome!" he shouted back, "bye bye! see again soon!"
he wagged his tail, yawning, beginning his journey back to canis to rest
