This conception was Successful! The litter will emerge August 4th.

Mevoh will not be able to conceive again until November 4th.

The Blue Quartz child will be nearer to the larger end of its parents' spectrum, standing about five feet tall at the shoulder, though due to light bird's bones it is quite lightweight. It has four legs, all four of which are spindly Secretary Bird limbs, and all four of which are tipped with cloven Bighorn Sheep hooves. It has no wings. It is overall a dark, rich black-brown, coated in short, sleek fur, with black legs and slightly lighter red-brown underbelly and sheep-like muzzle. Yet the rest of its skull seems bird-like, light and with binocular vision, with pale Secretary Bird predator's eyes. Its overall build is sheep-like: muscled and light, tall-bodied, though with a long, slender bird-like neck. It has a secretary bird's feathered crest, no mane, and a long, flowing black tail. Its gemstone juts out in a raw chunk from the left hind knee (joint just beneath the haunch), somewhat restricting that leg's movement.

The Azurite gemstone's creation will be a mysterious mixture of secretary bird, wild boar, octopus, and groundhog. It is, overall, fairly bird-shaped: upright and lightly-built, though its actual bones are thick and heavy. It weighs 23 pounds. A blunt, strange octopus face, featuring round, dark groundhog eyes, leads into a bird-like skull shape; this follows to a very short, squat, muscled groundhog neck. There are no ears; there are only ear-holes hidden beneath the creature's thick agouti pelt. It has no tail and no crest of feathers. Its actual mouth is an octopus mouth, found upon its belly, leading directly to the stomach; this is a hard octopus beak. This creature has eight limbs: three sets of wild boar legs, and one pair of octopus arms. One set of the boar legs ends in soft tissue without hooves, but are flexible and still weight-bearing; two pairs of boar legs end in cloven, black boar hooves. Its gemstone erupts from the right-side flesh-tipped boar leg in a rough cluster.
