Aran knew that he wouldn't be able to carry things without hands - the both of them were hooved creatures that lacked fingers. Neither of them would be able to carry things well without help. Which Aran found himself needing more and more of, recently. Seeing as he'd been collecting all of those things - scrolls as he called them. And those other things he had. Least he could carry them on his antlers long as he was careful.
"Would you be able to make me one?" He questioned in a rush.
If he had access to something like that, he could carry his scrolls and other things everywhere instead of hiding them and hoping no one else found them.
"I can give you information on how to make things in return." He replied. Whether or not James had a need for those things wasn't Aran's problem - though he did want to share more of that information out. Get the word out in case he lost those things. Maybe one would remember how to make such things.

Aran watched the horse as he made the bag - it was a long process. One that he burned into his retinas and into a file in his brain so he would remember. At least so he could
attempt to remember at a later date. Aran was much better with having things to look at to keep things in mind - which is why he kept those scrolls so hidden. It allowed him to keep them to remember.
When the horse moved to hand it to him, Aran linked an antler around the strap - it hung down and looked kind of stupid, but his antlers were good for carrying things so the barasingha didn't mind.
"Thank you - and yeah a trade." He'd forgotten to explain before - his eyes shifted around, making sure no one else was there.
"Come with me. I'll show you." He said before turning to begin walking, the bag doing a swinging movement as he turned.
@James
Aran lead the way through Eridanus - the green place was nice on the eyes, he found. Much nicer than some of the other dark places of the caves. Though he was more focused on getting to the location he was leading the two, rather than how nice the place looked. It wouldn't take long.
"How to make more things, I suppose." He replied with a pause. But which thing to show... All of those scrolls were covered in good information just about any gembound could want, or use. Though since the horse collected fruits... Maybe the one scroll with fruit drawn onto it would be best.
They got to where Aran hid the scrolls, digging through a bush he grabbed the two that he wasn't going to show and shoved them in the bag with his mouth - along with the picture and the cave light orb. The orb shocked him as he put it in the bag, but it was more a buzzing feeling than anything else.
The one he was going to show, though, was unraveled with a shove of a hoof. When it unraveled fully - the pictures of sugar being made from fruit, nectar, and honey. Every one of them a long process, but the scroll explained in detail how each of them worked. Whether or not the horse thought it to be useful or not was not something Aran could decide.
"Since you like fruit - you can use it to make... Whatever that is. I've not tried it before yet. Maybe you can." He noted.
"But i must keep the scroll, maybe we can work together to figure it out, eventually." He added.
