Oh, you can bet the boom kitty would be comin' back up here as soon as she possibly could.
One might say she was making a... bee-line for it? Eh? EH?! Okay anyways--
She wandered towards the middle of the room, wanting to travel deeper and deeper, further and further, to swarm and flood and envelop herself in the plants, in the buzzing, in the scent and feel and taste of it all. She'd find those lovely little technicolored buzzy bugs soon enough. Maybe she'd also find Sunny as well. But for now, she wanted lonesomeness. Just because she was alone didn't mean she was lonely, after all.
She sat in the typical kitten "loaf" position amidst the tall towers of ferns, the arching buttresses of bone. A beautiful palace of grace and solitude, of bugs and life. She'd missed life, in her little cave of chrysoberyl. She really had. Life suited her; a body and soul matched perfectly, both built for purpose, for construction and destruction, for a flow of constant motion. She wouldn't stay here long. She wouldn't just rest and do nothing when she finally had the chance to move.
Madhukar breathed in deep. She looked at the sky. 'Give me rain.'
And instead, all of the water in her body felt like it was going to dry up. Her eyes bulged, her mouth robbed of its hydration, its saliva. Her tail plopped on the ground with hardly any feeling at all. The shock of the sudden dehydration kept Madhukar's parched throat zipped and locked. What the heck was HAPPENING?!
