Sharp had turned back to her cart, fully ready to drag Aerie back and continue her journey. She worried that all she had done was aggravate the fledgeling (Sharp was never good with others anyways), and most children could take care of themselves, right? Aerie was just a bit different.
She picked up her dropped stone, rearranged the bedding to be comfier, and turned around to see-- the bird? They were perched atop her tail like it were a branch, and the dragonet seemed just fine with it."Oh!" she breathed. "Does... does your friend want to come with us? Do they want to?" She swung her head around, quickly checking to see if there were any hidden owl parents looking for their child. None to see. She really should've checked for that earlier. Well, if they wanted to come with Aerie (she hadn't caught onto their slight squawking earlier), and Aerie wanted to come with them...
"Uh, if you wanna come with us that's fine! I have room in the cart." Good job, Sharp. Now you might have two children. That is, if the fiery little bird decided to join the caravan. "What's your name, fuzzy bird?" If she could speak, that is.
