ORIGIN

So the hatchling-- so Kitty would join Sunny-snail. Alright. If that was the choice it-- they wanted to make, then that meant they were... partly Madhukar's responsibility now, weren't they? Well. Time to not think about that very deeply for very long. ALSO! Time to not think about how she just made a child make a... a pretty big-seeming decision mere moments after their hatching. It was not time to think about ANY of these things!!

It was time to think about "what was next", which, at the moment, was food.

"Hungry?" That would be her response to the question. It almost felt heretical to Madhukar's character to do something as convoluted as answering a question with another question. Like something a big ol' nerd like Tahi might do, not the relatively simple-spoken Madhukar. Well... maybe that wasn't true. Or-- or maybe Madhukar was just learning. And transforming. AGAIN! NOT SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT RIGHT NOW!!

Madhukar would stalk off a few paw steps, form shifting into that of a hunter's. She would briefly pause and look back at Kitty and make some kind of head gesture to follow along. It.. might take a mistake or two to get Madhukar to realize that Kitty may not actually eat meat.

Neverthless, Madhukar would begin a hunt, expecting the wisp maker to follow along if they so desired.

Kitty's stomach growled in response to her question, and she looked down at the crescent of moonstone embedded in her belly. A furless patch, hidden when she walked, but certainly still there. She looked back up at Madhukar and nodded -- it was hard to hatch and not be. She paused and mimicked Madhukar's posture -- she was, in fact, omnivorous.

She mimicked Madhukar's posture, and hoped they'd find something to eat soon. She smiled just a bit, still shy but warming up to the idea of this family -- apparently, she'd done the right thing. Madhukar was pleased. Kitty... could start getting used to this.
