Banshy nodded, silently. They did not have the same concerns as Forgraves, perhaps because they did not fully understand death or pain, or maybe because they understood Azrael's strength more then Forgraves. Either way, they did not seem too concerned and picked up their meat, trying to eat faster. They could always eat on the way, though.

Action. Thought. "Speech."

He nodded in understanding, at both his words and his glare. a few cycles ago that glare wouldve scared him, but to him it was just azzy letting him know he didn't have to be worried. maybe he didn't have to be. he'd keep his anxieties to himself. having already finished his food, he padded to the door, waiting for them to be ready, and he'd follow when they would begin to leave.

"Ready when you are, dad." he chirped

(exit? maybe?

Azrael finished up his own meal in ravenous bites and eyed Banshy - they always took a while to peck away at the meat - and snorted. "You finish on the way." It wasn't unkindly, he was just feeling his blood beginning to pump in earnest, the anxieties gone, ready to fight. To prove his strength.

He tossed the last piece of bone into his mouth and stood, flexing his muscles and stepping out after Forgraves, leading the way to Polaris.

They paused and blinked up at Azrael before nodding slowly once again. They got swiftly to their feet, still carrying their rat with them, and followed after him, pecking at the carcass every so often as they walked.
