Sora had been traveling for a few days -- weeks, maybe? -- since she'd had her fight with Morganite. The silence had been meditative -- she missed everyone, of course, but Sora had realized a few times that she was mourning for what Morganite had been rather than who she was. Eventually though, she'd found her way into Pisces.
The clear, rushing water had been a welcome sight. Sora had taken a swim, which she hadn't done in... ever, really, and it had given her a wonderful chance to clear her head. Watching the little fish rush around in the clear lagoon was peaceful enough that it had drawn her mind off of things. Even off of her reflection, which had been staring her in the face the whole time.
Sora had noticed that there wasn't another exit out of the cave, and had paused to scratch a rough map of the caves she'd noticed in her wandering. As far as she could tell, it was the furthest cave from Hydra. That... was certainly nice. Not to mention, the cave itself seemed... quiet. It was rather large, and it didn't seem like there was anyone making trouble (or cities) in the area.
Then, she'd noticed the green. Grass and moss growing on low hills, and the growth had provided enough anchor on the surface that she could safely dig herself a burrow. Sora had spent a long time painstakingly building her little lair -- taking out dirt little by little, making sure it held its shape, making sure there was enough to support it.
Eventually, she'd ended up with a semi-steep tunnel leading into a rounded hole as low as she could manage before she hit solid stone. It was reminiscent of their old home, just smaller and rougher and more her-sized. Smaller rocks were holding up weak points, and she'd made sure to decorate the outside with a few pretty stones. Finally, Sora stumbled down into her new den and curled up inside. With a sigh, she finally closed her eyes, relaxing. All she could hear was her own breathing and the waterfall droning in the distance. As sleep slowly began to claim her, Sora realized with a smile -- finally, she had some quiet.
