Comet trotted happily through the snow, using the harness to pull her ice sled behind her. She had heard about being able to see into stones, which sounded really cool! Unfortunately she didn't have a spell that could do that, she would have to find someone who could.

Her paws left behind a trail of paw prints that swerved in between the larger snowdrifts while the smaller hills of snow had Comet-sized dents in them.

@Abracadabra
The sled covered in shiny, pretty gemstones was quick to catch the lemur's attention. She trailed behind the wolf pup, following as inconspicuously ashe could until she spotted an opening to dart forward and attempted to grab one of the smaller stones in her tiny gremlin hands.

Shed just barely br able to grab a stone, fumbling it in her hands before securing her hold on it. "Woah! These are so pretty!" She'd exclaim, marveling at the stone she'd snatched. "Where did you get all of these?"

@Comet
Comet had been jogging along happily when she heard a noise. Turning around, she saw the lemur with one of her stones in their hand! She was about to open her mouth and ask them why they had tried to steal her stone when they exclaimed how pretty they were. Oh, they weren't trying to steal them.

"Oh, yeah! I did a spell where I can sense magic and I found them!" The pup looked over the lemur a bit. They seemed as young as her! Maybe a bit older. "Um, what is your name? I'm Comet!" Manners, she had to have manners.

@Abracadabra
At the mention of magic Abra looked up, tail twitching excitedly, "Oh! I can do magic! I love magic! The stone, temporarily forgotten, slid from her grip. Focusing almost comically hard as she normally did when casting magic, she attempted to summon a familiar fiery wisp by her side. After a moment, it did. She'd grin proudly at Comet, expecting her to be impressed.

"I'm Abra! Abracadabra!" She moved her hands with a dramatic flourish, just to add a little more pizzazz. "Nice to meet ya, Comet!" She'd stretch out a hand for a handshake, seeming not noticing or caring that the wolf pup didn't have any hands.

@Comet
Comet immediately picked up the fallen stone from the ground and returned it to the ice sled. That was an especially pretty one, she didn't want to lose it in the snow. The pup held back a laugh when the lemur focused really hard on casting a spell. And a wisp appeared! "Wow! That's cool!"

"Nice to meet you too, Abra!" Comet noted that the name was rather fun to say, and the lemur was rather dramatic. Then, she stretched out a hand? What was that intended to do? She raised up her own paw and batted at their hand awkwardly. That was embarrassing.

"I can do water magic!" She focused her energy into the blue gemstone that was her right ear, and bubbles drifted in to the air. "What other spells can you do?"

@Abracadabra
"Thanks!" She grinned, the wisp gently floating around in large circles around them before dissipating in a puff of astral-colored smoke.

She didn't seem to notice Comet's awkwardness, giving her paw a quick shake before letting it go. They sat back on their haunches, their tail twitching behind them and their fingers stippling together. It seemed impossible for them to sit still.

At the mention of water magic, Abra looked up with interest, that interest growing as bubbles began to float through the air. She popped one with a childish giggle. "Woah! I can't do anything like that. It's so cool!"

"Oh, Um, I can do one other spell. It isn't very interesting though." She replied, "It just tells me things about stuff."

@Comet
"Tells you about stuff? Like what kind of things?" asked Comet. It actually did sound interesting now that she thought about it. Her own tail thumped on the ground, mirroring Abra's energy. Would you be able to-- use it on these stones? The pup picked the stone that looked like a green eye and dropped it in front of her.

@Abracadabra
"Um, Yeah! Like the stuff that had happened to stuff. She'd look down at the green stone Comet set before her, "Yeah, I think so!" She'd snatch the green stone, cupping it in both hands. "Okay, little stone, tell me where you've been!" She whispered to the rock, her magic reaching out and attempt to peer into it's past.

The spell would work, and she'd squint, trying to focus on the visions of the past caused by the spell. Afterwards, she'd blink a couple times. "It was, Um.. Somewhere high up! And it had a twisty golden thing in its.. Hands? It had a fish-like tail, and silver fur, and weird toes. It was very fast, and good at climbing."

@Comet
This stone had been somewhere... else, once; perched atop a parapet. Thin, slit-like eyes peered across the amaranthine landscape and curving architecture, then the golden torc clutched in its three-clawed hands. A long, fishlike tail trailed behind it, hanging limp as it launched to its feet. The whole of its body was slender, covered in thin, silver hairs. Spider-like toes curled against the rock before it leapt off. Four arms held the metalwork close to its keeled chest, one occasionally coming away to act as a bracing limb while it scampered towards the arched bridge in the distance.

@Comet @Abracadabra
"Wow that's so cool!" Comet had never heard of such a creature before, and wondered if the stone used to belong to a hybrid. So, it could swim and climb. An interesting combination! She could do neither, since she didn't exactly have gills.

She placed the green stone back into the ice sled, and looked around for another stone that would be interesting to see into. Oooo, the firey one looked nice. Comet picked up the flame-like raspite and placed it in front of the lemur. "Try this one!"
