The little filly inhaled deeply as her eyes fluttered open. She had spent a few nights with the winged horse named James, though she had never met his family that he had spoken of. She was strangely alright with that, not wanting to hang around too long honestly. It wasn’t that she didn’t like him, it was just that her hooves were telling her to get up and go. To see the world and explore every inch of it. And so her hooves were itching like they had after the first few days out of her chrysalis, she had enjoyed her time with Fahl but alas her hooves ached and yearned to be on the move.
And so the little filly rocked to her hooves slipping out from under what James called a blanket. She had had ample time to recover from her ordeal in the freezing tunnel that led between Pisces and Orion. She had nearly froze to death, and she would have had it not been for James. However nonetheless it was time for her to move on from this place. The dazzling ceiling had fascinated her for hours the first time she had seen them. She had also taken time to explore the many ruins of Orion, even those that had been melted.
Following a path she had found the day before leading to an interesting mist filled tunnel that was pale grey and so different from the other. It was chilling but not in a cold sense. It made her feel strange and she wanted to know why, she wanted to know what was on the other side. Even as she took her first step into the tunnel an eerie feeling settled on her. SOmething told her to hurry through and not take her time. That there was something wrong, maybe something hiding in the mist itself. And so the little filly hurried her pace through the tunnel. Soon she emerged in a strange place where the ceiling seemed to be bearing down on her. Curiously the girl wandered farther into the place. Soon she came to a pile of something that caught her attention. They were a jumble of things, and she stood staring at them for the longest time.
