It was leaving the tunnel, eyes flitting around, as if searching for someone, a living, breathing body to rip apart when it spotted a rat. It lashed out immediately with magic, taking a firm hold of its body and throwing it harshly against the wall. There was a loud snap as its neck broke and its body fell limply to the ground.
Regalia stood there for a moment, staring at the now cooling body with disdain before it slowly drifted forward.Weak, unworthy, lesser creatures...prey to the strong, food to the carnivores. Yet it exists and breaths and fights for life, as all mortal creatures do, its a soul, a single light in the infinite, twinkling void. A light gone out. Quickly. Painlessly. Unworthy of chaos. That was right...those that did not suffer...they were unworthy. It was the true path to power, the true path to chaos. And Regalia decided then, that it would give them a taste.
All of them. A taste of chaos. A taste of what it meant to be worthy of Him.
Besides, it did not like to watch others suffer. Despite this newfound need to create chaos, to commit acts of violence, to consume, it wasn't exactly all for torture. It had hurt to watch the zebra scream, it had hurt to know that she had died in pain and fear. And that hurt...that was Regalia's suffering. Its curse, that it would bear, its path to show Him...I am worthy.
