ORIGIN - This is my hell, I live to tell

Yew had been watching that tree the lion put up in the caves for a while. Not much happened there, just the lion going in and out of the place. Maybe it was weird for Yew to be essentially stalking someone - but it really wasn't like that. Yew didn't think she was capable of doing something like that. Not after... the things that happened before. Yew didn't want to fight with anyone again. Moving away from that area, Yew found herself a quiet small clearing within the plantlife.

Scuttling around in the plants nearby was a mouse, Yew's eyes watched it for a short time, the small wings on ttheir body fluttering for a short moment. Having the quiet was always nice.

James, admittedly, wasn't very vibrant when simply walking along, his crest pressed down against his neck, his wings folded and hiding the colors underneath, and his tail feathers folded up as well, the four peacock-like ones sticking out behind him.

His crest went up in surprise as he saw the hummingbird- or well, the hummingbird griffin?

"Excuse me," he asked, "Are you of the Edenfolk? I've been looking for Shengxiao and Fairy- I can't seem to find them."

All he needed was a message to be passed along.

Yew was rather enjoying the quiet, until she could hear the plodding along of something bigger than the lesser that had been scuttling around the area. The mouse had run off at the sound of it, and Yew's own head turned in that direction, feathers fluffing up and radiating that shine they always did. The hybrid stood up, too. The gembound that had showed up was a horse, and covered in feathers like Yew herself.

The horse mentioned something about a group that she didn't know about, and had never met. Well... She did know the group resided somewhere in this place too.

"I'm not from there." The hybrid replied quietly. Talking to other gembounds was always tiring for her, but it sounded like this was important. "You should find them if you look around enough... They are working on setting things up somewhere." She added, canine teeth flashing through their hummingbird beak when she spoke.

James sighed, "I need to find them- I need to talk to Shengxiao, it's urgent."

A message to pass along. And if Ari was here or going to be, it was even more essential to know and to tell him.

"Are you affiliated with any groups?", he asked, listing them off mentally.

The Seven, Edenfolk, Children of Rot, Kingdom... of Eridanus, Bonebound- ha, more like birdbound. Er... Sentinels?

That was all he knew, anyway. He had a lot of work to do... but it was worth it. Not only for the sling but just in case Ari tried to use the Edenfolk to his advantage. If he had allies, then he would be more protected.

Yew didn't know this Sheng.... however you say that fellow. She'd not spoken to anyone within the Eddenfolk before. If anything, she had been avoiding each of them. Yew didn't like speaking with groups, didn't like speaking with most Gembound anyway. However... this horse bird thing seemed to be in a rush to find the group.

"I can help you try to find them." She said.

Yew didn't have any idea where they actually lived in the place, but she did know they were all over Eridanus with their group being so large. Eventually they would find one of the things they were trying to build, which meant they would find one of them close by. When James asked her what group she was with, Yew didn't entirely know how to answer. Sure, she was with the Kingdom.... but she didn't talk with them often. Not after before.

"Kingdom of Eridanus... You could say."

Shengxiao had been playing with Kimera an awful lot, aswell as generally helping sort out other things for the group socializing with the workers and in his spare time even helping their new medic. a nice young man, the young fox was.

and he had talked to ari only days before, it was so lovely people were so willing to join!

as he wandered eridanus, he overheard the two gembound talking and, oh, would you look at that! james, one of the more infrequent members of their little group, he hadn't seen that fella in a while! he got a new pair of snazzy feathers it seems too!

he padded over, humming, quirking a confused eyebrow at the fact james seemed to be upset. "aye, did ya need me my boy?" he asked gently, offering yew a nod and a smile in greeting.

James nodded and walked forward, about to lead the way, before he heard the voice of the very Gembound he wanted to see.

"Sheng!", he exclaimed, pivoting on his hooves to face him, "I'm so glad you're here, I'm sorry I have been so scarce- a lot of things have happened... and it involves Aristotle."

He turned to Yew and beckoned her closer, "You should listen too, for I have a warning: he is not as he seems."

His eyes were full of worry as he shuffled on his feet, hoping to God that Aristotle wasn't close enough to hear. He could be here, and he could be a risk.

"I've been seeing Pride and Mercy, as well as the Collector," he explained, "The Collector because I needed a sling in order to carry my child to Pegasus- I have a little one on the way, you see."

James took a deep breath... and begun.

"Aristotle has been... 'collecting' children. He's been procuring gems, perhaps to use for awful purposes- bt that's only part of what I wish to tell you. He too, went to the Collector, and in exchange for his sled- the legged creation, called Last Legs- he sacrificed three stones in order to get it," he said, breath hitching, "Three helpless gemstones full of potential, and he snuffed them out. He brought two more home with him, but I don't know why. Perhaps even he couldn't stand his own cruelty."

James exhaled and looked at Sheng, "I... I ask that you be cautious. He's an individual of kindness and caring- but he's not all he seems."
