Mayfal instinctively took Comet's warm tail in their mouth. They were so happy to be exploring with their best friend again. They still had plenty of questions, though.

"How did the caves open up? Was it loud? How do you know the caves are new and haven't been there all this time? When I walked here it just seemed like I was walking through tunnels like usual. You non-blind creatures are so weird."

This was all spoken through Comet's tail, of course, so it sounded more muffled. More like:

"Haw dida cabs oben ah? Wa ih law?" And so on.

As Comet moved, so did Mayfal. For some reason, they didn't even think to ask where she was taking them. It seemed that Mayfal didn't feel the need to ask a question like that to someone they trusted so much.

@Comet
Comet did not understand much of what Mayfal was trying to say, but she caught enough to know that it was questions about the caves. "We fought with a huge rock bear! And when it was defeated, the caves opened up!" The familiar pressure of teeth on her tail was so comforting.

"Let's go! I have a few good ideas of where we can explore." She looked to James who had been working on the house, "Don't worry renny! We won't get into any trouble. Let's go Mayfal!" And with that, Comet led the fox to their next adventure.

"Exit Comet"

@Mayfal
Rock bear?! That explanation only lead to more questions in the little fox's mind. But Comet was rushing along now. And Mayfal allowed themself to follow.

"Uhay!" An excited response to Comet's equally excited call to go. The difference was that they wouldn't have to part ways when they went back home.

"Exit Mayfal"

@James

James blinked and looked up, having clearly been left behind, "Um... okay. Stay safe, have fun!! Be home before dark!"

He watched them spring off, and sighed. Kids...

Exit James.
