Nemo
He banks again flap, turning tightly and following Comet, his eyes raking the snow for where she indicated- he was a little peeved that he'd missed the first thing, and the snow in his feathers is biting at his skin.
So, he dives again, this time intending to crush the small thing into the snow and landing [i]hard/[i] on the tiny prey, talons interlocked over it and sliding a bit in the snow.
It almost wiggles away, and with a hiss he jabs down his his beak and strikes it on the back of the head, rendering it stunned and still.
"Got it!"

Nemo
Nemo manages to right himself by time Comet gets to him, one foot holding the stunned Lesser down, and other splayed in the snow and scattering a bit of red into the white powder, most likely from the food under his foot and not his own, but who knows. Cold wind is drying!
With another peck, he breaks it's neck quickly, before lifting his foot and taking a step back.
"You want the gem? I have no use for one like this, at least not now. You can eat first, by the way. I don't tend to eat meat, I'm cleanup." a wry chuckle, and he nudges the Icemouse again.
"It's adorable, though, I almost feel bad for killing it. Ah well, circle of the caves."
@Comet
Nemo
While Comet busies herself with pulling the gem out of the mouse, he takes a beakful of the bloody snow and swallows it, opening and closing his beak a few times like he's licking his lips, but... y'know, bird, beak, etc.
The bones exposed, he stretches a talon out and pins the small body, pulling an exposed rib or two out of the body and just swallowing them both, before dipping back down to try and pull of a shoulder blade or something else large and exposed, eventually giving up and leaning back, allowing Comet to take her next mouthful of meat and expose more bone.
Yeah, he could tear it off with his beak, but. He wants to watch Comet's teeth work again.
This would be a terrifying sight, two cold weather predators standing over a slowly growing stain on the snow, but it's just a quick snack, and absolutely nothing compared to the other things the caves have seen.
"Hey, uh, Comet, you've got some uh-" Nemo gestures at his own chin, as if to indicate some food bits.
The 'geier has no room to talk, his own beard and chin are red instead of the vibrant blue he'd applied.

Nemo
The look of shock from Comet once again gets a birdy smile from Nemo, and when she indicates she's done, he simply scoops up what's left of the carcass and swallows it- again, whole.
"No mess, no problem right? Who knows what would be attracted by leaving anything behind. Are you uh... ready to keep going?"
Red stripe from bottom beak to collar bone, bauble slightly dirty, and the rest of the top half of his body bright blue... what a mess. He'll flip out when he spots himself, and that will be a funny sight to see, but for now, he's going to bear the colors like warpaint.
A ruffle of Comet's fur with one wing, and then he opens his wingspan and takes off with a flurry of powder, circling overhead and waiting for her to track something - or for him to attempt to do the same. Seems like they've got some sort of pattern down, right?
"Don't forget your stone!"
@Comet
Nemo
He happily follows her through the air, giggling in glee when he's able to catch a thermal and just gets tossed gently in one direction or the other, relishing in the lack of fear for the first day in a while.
Maybe it's the fact that he knows that getting thrown into snow will hurt less? Who knows.
But-
"If you want something else, lets go for it! I'll give the slopes a look!"
With that, he wheels higher, scanning the slopes for movement and spotting a familiar flash of an outline and a stunning glint of something other than white-
"Hopper, up that way," he swoops down to Comet, making sure to keep his shadow from alerting the Lesser.
"You wanna go?"
