Pegasus was a lovely place to live, made doubly true by the fact that James had moved here. If only Tahi-shei could soothe himself enough to commit to a permanent residence, he might have found himself fond of it. The mycelial growth was everywhere here, and he'd been able to taste the cleanness of the air as soon as he'd entered the cave -- it was a wonderful place, with crisp and cool air. Tahi-shei was finding it harder and harder to not include this place as part of his daily routine -- if only it weren't so far from Canis, he'd have found no excuse not to.
Right now, he was meandering through the forest and simply enjoying the day, wondering distantly what secrets this cave held in its rivers and trees.
@esther
The place had long towering trees, and underbrush of different colors and shapes. The air in Pegasus was so much nicer than the other areas in the caves. This one, covered in plants much like Eridanus, the maned wolf wondered if they could burn it. Maybe they would try another time, for they were wandering moreso then giving into the chaos that seared into their limbs. The shadow was quiet, no whispers yet. Perhaps from stabilizing not long ago.
Moving, moving. Plodding along on their claws. There was a lot to look at, a lot to listen to. This place was thriving with life and Esther liked it. Oily eyes spotted someone vaguely familiar. Another from when they fought the bear harboring 'mother'. Was this one still infected? Esther approached.
"You were there when we fought the golem." Esther voiced without a worry of the deer.
@Tahi-shei
Tahi-shei startled a bit, not having noticed Esther at the edges of his vision. His ears swung towards them first, and then the rest of his head, as he watched them warily for a moment. Then they spoke, and he visibly relaxed.
"Yes, I was," he said politely, thinking about her and what they had done.
"Oh! You helped my friend Madhukar, didn't you? Yes, hello. My name is Tahi-shei." He did not mention that he'd tried to infect Madhukar before he'd been chrysalised -- he was sure Esther knew.
"Pegasus is lovely, isn't it?" he mused, glancing around.
"Which direction did you come from?"
