The Raid... felt like it had been forever ago, she thought as she slowly stepped into the tunnel where it had happened -- even though the Trial had only been four cycles ago. She'd been so stupid. To which event she was referring was... uncertain, even in her own mind.

She looked out over the icy expanse. She had started to panic, at first -- crying out for her sister, desperate to... what? To be rescued? Maybe. Then, she'd... given in. Surrendered to it. The voice had been warm, and being connected to the other Gembound had been nice. Overwhelming, certainly, but... nice. It had been the feeling of warmth and security that had pinged her as wrong and caused her to freak out, but then she'd relaxed into it. There'd been a promise, somewhere in there, that Mother would fix her family -- or, at the very least, give her a new one.

There was a discomfort in it, for Sora. An understanding that everything came at a price, and nothing was ever given for free. Not love or security or family. Certainly not Peace. But... being able to feel warm and loved and happy again... was appealing. So why did she feel so uncertain? So... confused?

She looked back towards Pisces, and considered Tenzin for a moment.

He was a Master, but he'd left her alone. Maybe he would know.
