Kitty eyed the white stag, who reminded her a bit of Madhukar's sharp friend. Lots of awkward angles on that one, though Pride was a bit taller and a bit broader. She grinned and drew the diamond closer -- it was fine. Exquisite, even. She tucked it close to her with the rest of her treasures. "It's enough, yes. Thank you, thank you! Let's see, let me try yours -- just a moment, I'll prefer to touch you, if you don't mind." She reached forward and gently touched her paw to whatever part of Pride he offered up, and closed her eyes to focus on the magic rushing through Polaris and how time rushed through him.
A white hare and a white stag, standing over a pink-carved chrysalis. A long, green mustelid stretching out of it, and a stag's shocked greeting. "You're awake," he said, the scenery of a destroyed Orion behind him. "Are you alright?" he asked, nosing gently at the creature with kindness and caution in his tone.
She opened her eyes and retreated, settling back and considering. "You are light," she said finally, thinking to how he had looked like a beacon in the ruins and thinking back to the reading she'd just given to his daughter. "Your intuition and instinct will grow," she said, considering the slight caution in his posture in her vision, "and so will your wisdom." She looked for a beat at the daughters he had with him. "You're becoming more attuned with your compassion and empathy; that's a good thing. It'll help you keep your loved ones safe from those who might seek to deceive you."
Then it was Thalia's turn, the pretty faun with pretty hair.
"I like your fur," she said, gesturing to the long hair draped over Thalia's shoulders. It reminded her of long grass. Kitty gave a smile, and then reached out for her --
"You next, okay? Anything you're willing to give me," and touched her, eyes falling closed with the expectation of receiving a vision.
A growing girl with long hair leaned against a tree as several figures crowded around her -- Tema, Comet, a three-headed reptilian Kitty didn't recognize. They all seemed happy and excited as Thalia offered suggestions in the dragon's direction -- "Maybe something like Pearl-scale or Nightwing or something? -Your colors are quite nice." She looked in the direction of Tema, still smiling, and introduced herself -- "I'm Thalia; good to meet you both too," and she nodded.
Kitty opened her eyes and fell back, considering for a moment what she'd seen. Comet and Tema were good company, though she had no clue about the reptile. Still, they sort of reminded her of Carja, except with more heads and a warmer color scheme. She curled her tail around her paws.
"You're good at taking care of others," she began, considering the offering up of the name.
"You're friendly and fun -- people like you!" She had to be if Comet and Tema were at her side.
"But you might be giving away too much of yourself, and that's not so good. Connect with your feelings, and try not to let those of others rule you." She wasn't sure where that one had come from, but she hoped it rang true. It seemed like all her other readings had today.
@thalia
(sorry for the wait! i didn't realize you'd posted ;^;)
Kitty looked around as the crowds began to disperse, little by little. After about a half hour of having no customers, she stretched out and looked around her booth, slowly starting to dismantle it. This had been fun! Now, though, it was pretty well time to go -- no use in sticking around for hours if everyone was leaving, now was there?
