Darkness. It was pure and warm, like a loving partner that would curl up next you and share their warmth. The now massive white tiger slept peacefully for two years in the same spot, not moving, not stirring or waking. Those who passed by would simply think it a rock as leaves, moss and other fauna would begin to cover the great sleeping creature.

But something told him now 'Wake up~' it whispered to him,'It's time~', and so he did. Bones creaked and muscles ached as Almos slowly woke from two years of sleep. Blinking slowly the moss and leaf covered tiger looked around yawning lazily. 'A nice nap..' he thought to himself as he looked around for the large bear he had fallen asleep to. But Sergei was nowhere to be seen.

Sitting up Almos's legs shook as he looked around for the large bear worried he had been left behind. But soon he realized everything seemed smaller, or maybe he was bigger? With weak legs the tiger shuffled to the water's edge and looked into the water. What he saw shocked him. An adult tiger peared back at him, the face gaunt with lack of nutrition. "How long?" he asked slowly as he looked around for anyone near.

The realization of how long he had slept finally dawned on him as he sat at the edge of the water. Huffing he shook his head slightly as he flopped to the ground at the water's edge and looked around marveling at how little things had changed other than growing and maturing like he had. Glancing to the water he saw the silver fish swimming and let his head roll to the damp ground. Too much effort would go into catching those fish, but he knew he needed to eat. He was under weight and starving but he was too lazy to do anything about it.

Then the thought struck him. If he could wait long enough perhaps someone would help him. Of course it had been a while since he had been awake- perhaps no one would know him and help a stranger who was clearly in need of help. Yes that's what he would do! Slowly he let out some chuffs and huffs before whining hoping someone would have heard him in his pitiful state.

They didn't really know why they were here. In Fornax of all places. They were a fire dragon and this place hated them.

Water everywhere, sand in their scales- just a horrible cave in general. But.. at least they were alone. Though such a thing was truly impossible, sharing one body among three consciousnesses.

"There's sand in my scales," the center head, the one matching the rest of the beast's body, whined.

"Nobody cares," the right rumbled, with scales like the night sky, with little dots along their grey face and black neck.

The leftmost head was quiet, staring at something further away, a shape. Like a rock, but something was... off. She took over, the other two protesting, their massive wings spreading and carrying them into the air with relative ease.

"Hello?", she called out, the white head, with spotted patches of black and orange. The most unique of each one, with soft eyes and a gentle appearance to match her soft personality.

They landed and walked forward, each head peering forward at the white cat in front of them, a species they'd yet to encounter.

"Are you alright?", the white head asked, softly, quietly.

The other two weren't as concerned as she was, but that didn't matter. At this point they knew that she was the smartest, and that listening was probably the best way to remain unscathed.

The siberian tiger watched the strange creature enter. He had never seen anything like what stood before him, possibly once in his dreams did he see something that barely resembled what he now looked at. He heard it speak, more than once voice which brought him to the conclusion of the different heads had different consciences. sighing he waited for the creature to grow closer as he lay there.

Finally when the creature came closer and asked the simple question Almos let his breath rumble from his chest as he spoke in a deep voice. "I have slept for too long-" The tiger looked at the three headed creature with lazy teal and green eyes as he sighed once more. "-and I am too weak to gather food for myself..." Almos lifted his head slightly and looked to the creature.

"Perhaps you could,... help me?" his eyes looked to each of the head before he roughly laid it back down on the warm earth. Looking back to the water he slowly closed his eyes and felt his body ache, "I reckon I've been asleep for nearly two years- I'm not the cub I once was..."

Each one of Almos's words was long and drawn out like he was putting more effort than he'd like to in each word. Again he sat up and his legs wobbled with fatigue as he sped his paws to feel the sand under him. Looking back to the water he noticed his stone in his forehead was dirty and parts of his fur were growing moss. 'I will need a bath soon..' He thought to himself as he tried to lazily catch a fish but it was too quick and swam off.

The grey head sneered, "Get up and get it yourself you lazy-"

A clawed hand grabbed them by the face and held it shut, making them hiss and spit angrily.

"My name's Koi," the white head said, "That's Luci, and then beside me is Hellfire."

Hellfire waved enthusiastically, balancing on their wings to do so.

"We can get fish for you. So that you can rebuild your strength," Hellfire said, and they toddled off, Koi saying something about interrupting before they'd taken flight over the bay, searching for fish.

After a while they returned, each head with a mouthful, and set it down, "There, enough for us all, I think.

"But eat up," she urged after a moment, nudging some fish closer.

She and the others dug in merrily, snapping up fish (though Hellfire and Luci fought over their's more often than not) and gobbling them down, making sure to leave plenty for Almos.

At the mention of being called lazy Almos held back a growl as he eyed the grey head before looking to the white head. They all held a beauty that Almos could respect and admire, yet he still held himself in high regard when it came to looks. Giving a slow nod to them all he shifted his lower jaw for a moment before speaking. "I am Almos," He gave what one could infer as a smile as he watched them get food."I like to consider myself the prince of the lake..."

'That was quite easy...' he thought as he watched them do the hard work for him. When the food was place in front of him he tried his best to not make a face at the smell of the fish and despite his more refined taste in food he sunk his teeth into the food. The tiger didn't realize how hungry he actually was until he had swallowed the first bit of fish. Though somewhat disgusted at the fighting Almos had his fair share of food and felt himself content when he finished.

Standing on somewhat sturdier legs he waded out into the water and sat watching the fish swim around him. "Where are you from?" His deep voice rumbled low yet carried itself with volume. "I haven't seen anyone like you around- or anyone recently for that matter..." Looking back to where he once lay he furrowed his brows a bit, "The bear, Sergei... do you know him?" Almos felt as if there was some sort of obligation to ask of his first friend despite knowing that the old bear was probably long gone.

"We're from the tunnel between Hydra and Canis. We were raised by Master Vargas," they mumbled, "But... we're conflicted. Koi didn't want to be a part of that, I didn't care, and Luci really did. We just ended up leaving, and now we don't really belong anywhere."

A tragic tale, perhaps.

They shook their heads (or, well, Hellfire and Koi did, Luci was too busy snatching up the rest of the fish), "We haven't seen any bear. Nor a 'Sergei'."

Unfortunately for Almos, the hydra didn't know much. They didn't really... interact with people.

"Can we go?", Luci asked, ears pinned and teeth gnashing in irritation, "They don't need our help, they can walk fine now."

"Oh, but it's been so long since we've talked to someone," Koi reasoned.

Hellfire didn't have much input, seeing as he was watching a butterfly float past, completely enraptured by it. He loved butterflies.

"Anyway, it's best you try to leave this cave if you want to find your friends," Koi said, "You can always come back, but not a lot of people really reside here."
