The young lioness’ tail began to wag happily as she looked at her brother. The thought of a project just for them made the girl happier than she honestly thought it would. Of course she liked spending time with him, but to think they would be doing something, just the two of them with no help from anyone else. She couldn’t think of anything better than doing that.

A warm smile rested on the young girl’s muzzle as she gave her instructions to her oh so enthusiastic brother. She was glad he was so willing to learn from her. She had been practicing but in all reality she was barely better than he was. As her own spell failed to cast, she shined a sheepish grin at her brother. ”Yeah magic can finicky.” The girl agreed readily. She knew from her solo practice sessions that magic didn’t always listen to you when you called for it.

Adonia watched her brother as he focused himself, and attempted to cast the spell. The young girl watched on with bated breath as she waited to watch and see if his plant would grow. Then it did! It grew tall and beautiful and the sweetest shade of blue she had ever seen. It was a gorgeous flower her brother had grown. The young girl’s eyes lit up with excitement as she grinned and bounced in a circle around her brother. ”You did so well! You’re so good Sprig!” The girl complimented her brother proudly as she stopped in front of him her tail waving like an excited puppy. She stopped and smiled at her brother. ”Don’t thank me, you did all the work, I just told you what to do!” The young lioness purred warmly as she spoke. She was over the moon for her brother.

Stopping for a moment she thought. She could always try teaching him other spells, but she wasn’t sure if she even knew how to begin to explain how to reach for other types of magic from within you. ”So what do you want to do next? We can keep practicing or we can play, or we could go for a walk and see what we find.” The girl was throwing out ideas for what the pair could do. She wasn’t ready to give up her time with her brother just yet.
