He cannot recall ever having been in this part of the caves. Everywhere he looks, he registers something new. The air is notably cold, the chill sweeping over his scales; distantly, he notices the dripping of water, echoing down the tunnel.
This place is different in many ways from Polaris. He compares and contrasts in his head as he walks, tail trailing behind him as claws click-clack on the floor.
Magical concentration is notably reduced here. Feelings of energy imparted by Polaris have long faded; however, this subject does not feel magically tired. Magic itself appears to be…
He pauses, eyes roaming. He appears to be at the very entrance of the cave he is seeking, but for a moment he puts his goal aside to locate a shard of bone placed conveniently next to his feet. He wills his magic forward, thinking of invisible force launching the bone away as if it was always meant to happen.
Magicka surges forward. The shard of bone lifts from one end and tumbles away, echoing hollowly against the rock.
...unaffected.
He raises his head and looks around. Bones are scattered as far as the eye can see; collected in piles or laid out upon the stone, there seems to be no pattern to their placement.
Glowing crystals and flora seem to be exclusive to Polaris thus far; they appear to be absent from this cave. Current location is notable for its large amount of skeletal remains, consistent with description given. None seem to be recent, although further examination may be required.
He puts the thought of documenting the cave out of his mind for the moment. He is not here to explore. He is here to follow information. According to word-of-mouth, there is a being who lives here who has the capability to grant boons as part of a trade. This being will come when called, if only the caller knows its name.
Child (a name that feels disjointed now that he has stopped growing, and the need for a new designation lurks in the back of his mind) has obtained such a name. Now, he will call for a trade, and obtain a purpose as he should have. He is merely a shell without one.
A disused voice raises in volume as he lifts his head and calls,"Collector!"
