WITH A THOUSAND LIES AND A GOOD DISGUISE
I wasn't by any means sure of where exactly I was now. I had wondered from the place that I met the older.. what were they? Gemboards? Gem..Gembounds! And that big guy all of the weird objects that clung over or on him- he revealed what I was: I too was a gembound, but a bear gembound. And that, of course, sparked a little curiosity in me. Well.. what exactly can bears do? , and with that question in mind, i set out to answer that question.
The ground beneath me was now.. wet? It wasn't a very pleasant feeling. It was also cold, and not as birght with all of the green stuff that was near where i hatched. Well, there was some of that here, but a strange layer of.. colored air? Yes, colored air- that's it, was lingering around it all, even myself. I stood out, however. My fancy gem still gave a small orange glow. My padders seemed to slip every other step, and the dirt that was wet mad its way between my pointy things. Ooh, YUCK! I bellowed. I gave a snort and tossed my head, my sniffer vibrating as I did so. I moved my walkers faster than normal, and if it werent for the wet and soggy ground beneath me, i'd have this running thing down right to the core! As I charged on I stumbled here and there, and eventually my stumbling ceased after I found myself frozen in front of another monstrosity of a thing. It looked menacing itself. Grimm doesn't mind! HAH! I blurted out. I charged forwards, stopping at the base of the thing. I lifted a paw and held it to the oddity. It was... not a good feeling. Both its physical tomorrow ch and creeping aura. Even better! I swung my other front paw up and pulled upwards. I struggled many times, but then I bposted myself with my own hind end, those paws grasping however they could as well.
I soon found myself off the ground and hugging a smaller but still quite large piece of this thing. There were tons of them surrounding me, all twisiting and knotting into or with eachother. I slowly pulled each padder out from underneath me, and my walkers rose as I did so. There was still plenty og room for my to move, but I moved slowly-knowing I still wasnt used to this walking thing and my oddly proportioned body. A few minutes passed by and I made my way up a few more levels higher. Though at this point o decided to look down- and I was way up here. And I dont think I should be way up here- the ground is where I was born, thays probably where I should stay!
I grew anxious now, though it didn't really show. Perhaps I could get down from here, all by my lonesome. And so I tried: I slowly dragged one paw down wards, only to have it slip and dangle, and pull the rest of me with it. I pulled myself backwards as hard as I could to gain balance again. Grrr-helpp! Up here! Im this tall dark and scary lookin thing! Heeelp! I bellowed out. I snorted out a couple cooing growls and moans. Someone would hear me. I didn't care who. I just wanted down from here!
