C A R C I N O -- A R M O R Y
Welcome to the Carcino Armory!
This is an IC / OOC studio! You can make requests here on behalf of your characters to begin a thread with Cancer, to have armor and apparel made in-character, AND / OR you can also request art to be made of the armor's design!
You don't have to have Cancer make the armor to have some designed.
You don't have to have armor designed to have Cancer make it in-character.
You can have one, or both, as you desire.
IC ARMORY
Various pieces will cost various things.
Acceptable trades can be Gem Shards, Materials (Raw or Reused), Weapons, Favors
Cancer will ask that payment be made up front.
In the event that we don't get to finish or start our thread, ask me ooc, and we can assume it's happened.
The IC Form
If you're trading an item in return, please make sure it's proven that your character obtained this item in a previous thread, encounter or ooc assumption. Otherwise, it will be considered cheating. It's okay to say they found it in our thread, before arriving.
ALL THREADS WILL BE IN ORION UNLESS ARRANGED OTHERWISE.
OOC ARMORY
This is where you can request art to be made of your armor or accessories. You can do this in one of three ways;
You can provide me a full body reference of your character already made for me to add the requested design onto.
You can ask me to draw your character for you as a whole new reference.
You can ask that only the armor be drawn, with a dummy figure in place of your character.
These options will cost different amounts.
You can also request various parts of the design to be included;
100M FULL DRESS - This is a full suit of armor, covers at least 20% of the body. May or may not include a helm.
50M PARTIAL DRESS - This is a partial suit, which only covers smaller portions (less than 20%) of the body or limbs.
20M HELM - If you just want the helm to be designed, this is your option here.
10M+ ADORNMENTS - These are accessories (such as satchels, decorative stuff or straps on the body). Prices vary on the number or intricacy of the requested item(s).
+0M To have it drawn into a previously existing reference image.
+10M To have it drawn onto a dummy figurine.
+20M To have it drawn out with a whole new character reference included.
The OOC Form
YOU WILL BE QUOTED THE FINAL PRICE WHEN YOUR REQUEST IS APPROVED. NOT EVERY REQUEST WILL BE APPROVED, BUT IF DECLINED, YOU WILL GET A PM EXPLAINING WHY AND WILL HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO REQUEST AGAIN WITH SOME CHANGES MADE ACCORDINGLY.
WHAT IS ALLOWED:
Armor must be made out of basic materials and can not be intricately designed (yet). Can be Leather, Studded Leather, Chainmail, Platemail, Scalemail or a mix. Can include crystal, bone or stone parts, but can not be crafted purely out of these materials. (example: A helm can include a clear crystal visor, or bone spurs)
HOW IT WORKS:
OOC Armory stuff is a case by case basis, and generally you get your design finished within a week of requesting and being approved for it. Alterations can be made before payment is sent, but if no payment is received, you do NOT have permission to use the design, and if you're caught doing so anyway, you will be reported to the staff and left to their mercy.
IC Armory stuff works a bit differently. There will be two threads involved here- the first will be at the time of the request being approved, and can be short and simple. This is where your character comes to Cancer and makes the initial request- they pay him, and then are asked to return in a week's time.
This is one IRL week and can not be assumed to have passed via liquid time. Seven days later, I will post the completion thread and tag your character to join. Cancer will trade the armor off to your character after an assumed week's hard work behind the scenes. The week long wait is to simulate the time it would take in-game to create the armor.
