Pollen nodded very encouragingly this time, clapping her hands together once. "It'll be fun! There's a lot of things to see, too. Or outside the Palace! Maybe you can visit the tree sometime?" Her head cocked one way, then the other.

Her eyes widened and her ears tilting upwards when Obieth told her when the break ended. Tea? "It's a... plant? I think? Umm- it grows in here sometimes. She might be growing it on her own?" Pollen hopped down and took the basket in her paws, hooking the upper arc of it under one forearm. "If she's growing it, she's probably already done... Where is she?"

They had to get back, if Miss Aethril was waiting for them... Pollen's eyebrows furrowed as she stood a little taller and a little stiller, paws tensing on her basket. "We need to get back to her."

Wait, wasn't Pollen working in here? Ah, well- she was the one who gave herself her own tasks, and, right now, she wanted to make sure Aethril's tea was okay.

Breathing in sharply, she nodded to Obieth. She would follow, that expression tried to say, as she waited for Obieth's decision on what to do.

@Obieth

Already done..? Alarm flickered up through Obieth. With it came confusion: she had thought that "tea" was some sort of food--presumably something squishy, or crunchy--and the idea that it was a plant that Aethril was growing baffled her. Why didn't Aethril need protection when growing plants? Did they really grow that fast?

She gave up on these questions immediately, tucking them away in favor of the immediate problem: not being late in her return. Eyes widened, she looked to Pollen and then quickly turned, turning back for the palace doors in an undignified scramble of paws--before setting into a more sedate, but still swift, walk.

"This way... she went this way," Obieth explained, and hastened to get back. The dance of Voidlight across the tiles, the way it shimmered over the last of the leaves as she passed them, the warmer, less floral, spicier air inside--was mostly lost to her. Her mind was on Aethril, and on getting back--before she was late.

exit Obieth? We can fade here, maybe?

@Pollen

Obieth's frantic haste would have surprised Pollen if she were thinking about it- but for now, she'd swept up her basket and scrambled to keep up with Obieth's larger form. Apparently, it was very important for a guard to be where they needed to be when they got off of their break.

She'd look very silly as a speed-walking puffball of mint trailing after a sleek, black panther-thing. "Lead the way!" She squeaked, clearly inviting herself to the reunion of the two. Obieth shouldn't be late, and Pollen wanted to make sure she wasn't!

sounds good to me!
