"I don't have a stone on hand," she replied absent-mindedly. "Venom will do well for it, too-- something paralyzing, perhaps?" Painful would be a plus too, if for the fun of it, but Aethril kept this little detail to herself as she took another drink.

"A double-coat where the fur is would be good insulation, if it ever goes to areas with extreme temperatures," Aethril went on. "The feathers should do fine enough for its temperature, however-- but the thicker fur will give it some defense, too."

Her fingertips returned to tapping gently against the plastic, eyeing Vargas up and down for a moment. "Anything else?" She asked.

- THE LEVIATHAN -

He gave all this careful consideration, but no, he could think of little else. And what other details he added or removed, he didn't think he'd need to consult Aethril for.

He'd have to find some sort of dark stone, though. He supposed he could use one of the loose shards of Oilstone lying about, for the purpose; he'd just need to take it somewhere else to keep it from getting steeped in Draco's corruption. The Oilstone would be more... receptive to His power than other rocks, by its very nature.

"I can think of little. I will go and procure a suitable stone at once; I will keep you updated on the progress, but it should hatch out in about a cycle's time. Ah, and," he added, almost in afterthought. "I intend to call together all members of the Chaos Forge soon. I plan to update our penalties for failure, disobedience and the like in an attempt to improve... motivation. You're welcome to attend and observe, if you wish."

Aethril nodded, and for a moment she felt quite content. That was one task out of the way; and she was quite excited, too, to see how Vargas would apply her requests and put them into a creation.

One ear flicked at the mention of a meeting, however-- what was wrong with their current penalties? Had Vargas been killing too many? Was that why it was... lacking, in here?

"When do you plan to have it?" Aethril asked, licking purple syrup from her lips. "I'd like to attend regardless, of course-- thank you for the offer."

Vargas considered, head tilting a tad, the toxic glow of his eyes cascading with an eerie light over Aethril's skin. "In the next week or two, I'd imagine. I have a few conversations yet to have, a little planning to do, and someone to find, if I can. I will send my Overseer to inform you when a date is chosen, if that is suitable..?"

He looked back down to her, thinking, for a moment. "If that is all, I will act upon your request at once. I will head out to find a suitable stone, and come to inform you myself when it is done."

Vargas did want to go to Cepheus, himself, regardless; he had to ask Isra for verification of Aethril's identity. Assuming Isra herself was trustworthy--and Lord Dhracia, so far as he knew, believed her to be.

Aethril nodded once, half-making a note to arrange more milk for Overseer Cain when it arrived at the Palace again. It'd be nice to see a count on the Chaos Forge's actual numbers, assuming they were just elsewhere and not... all dead. Hopefully.

She took a final sip of her drink. "That's all," the Hand said. "Thank you in advance, Vargas-- I do appreciate it." Her tone was genuine, albeit a little more tired-sounding than she would have liked.

"I'll be in Cepheus, when you're done. Isra should be able to point you in the right direction if I'm outside of the Palace," she went on idly, half-turning to start click-clacking out. "Good luck."
