ORIGIN

the infernal heat was near-intolerable. had she died so soon, and arrived into the land of depravity and bad intentions?

she had been born of this, some way, some how—she would survive and thrive here, even should she be licked by the very flames of hades forsaken paradise. she inspected the world around her, sensing a cataclysmic change, a peculiar occurrence that must have transpired but some short time ago. she sought to investigate. this land was foreign to her. so much of it uncharted, and every bit of it she yearned to know... and presently, she slunk toward the spire.

He'd only wanted to take a peak, to see what the dark dragon had done out of some morbid curiosity. If he was going to fight back then he needed to take stock and see what all had been done here. Booker he left back at Monoceros in hopes that the little numbat would be safe while he scouted. He'd only be gone for a little while anyway. He could feel the soreness underneath in his muscles as he moved but it was nothing that he couldn't handle. Ignoring pain that he probably shouldn't was a thing he specialized in.

With wings tucked at his side he ventured into Polaris to find it a barren land compared with what it used to be. In the middle of the room, perched upon the Spire was the great dragon. He had made the room his own personal little hellhole which made the dragon sweat underneath his fur. Baratheon focused and cast a spell to help with keeping his temperature down and was successful in doing so. The area around him cooled down as he slunk forward and hid behind a large rock. He peeked out and then noticed some foolish little jaguar slinking towards the dragon. What was that thing doing? Did she not know of what she tempted by being so bold?

Baratheon's eyes narrowed as he hissed out in a whisper at her, "Hey! You got a death wish? That dragon'll rip you in two! Get back!" If she didn't heed his warning he would take things into his own paws and get her out of danger. Perhaps it was good that he'd ventured back here.

Thoughts

a voice. quiet and grumbling, deep. she looked above and saw it; a great beast. at last she gave the voice that warned her recognition, throwing herself in his direction. it was then her eyes took all of this one in, and she swallowed a shriek, then sprinting away from him—like hell would she avoid one dragon, only to be eaten by another! she had no time to rubberneck the other, so desperate was she to avoid the teeth; it could swallow her whole, surely!
