Appearance
Cycle 1
During her first cycle, Meinu will be rather small still. She'll only be around 85lbs at this point in her life, and 22 inches at the shoulder. Her fur won't have grown out as much as it will be when she is full grown, but she will still have a very thick coat of fluff. Her markings won't be as defined, as her fur will begin to lighten up as she ages. Her brown markings will look almost black, and the only real defined fur patterns will be the white on her underbelly. Her gemstone will be the same size it should be as an adult, causing complications. Her lower jaw will cause her to have an underbite, and her lower teeth will be too large. It will make it difficult for the pup to speak and cause her pain if she tries to fully close her mouth. Cycle 2 Meinu will have grown to around 95-100lbs now, and she'll have grown about an inch taller. Her fur will have lightened some, the dark brown now more like a kobicha color instead of a taupe. Her white markings will have grown from the small thin line along her belly to become more like a misshapen blob on her belly. The rest of her body will have grown some, allowing her gemstone to fit better into her bone structure. Her underbite will have slowly fixed itself a little, the upper part of her skull and muzzle having grown. Cycle 3 At this point in time, Meinu will have grown to almost her final height and weight. She'll be around 1o5lbs and be about 24in at the shoulder. Over her third cycle is when she'll grow the most, hitting a large growth spurt. She'll be hungry all the time and constantly need more food to accommodate her growing body. Her head will have almost grown entirely, getting rid of her underbite and allowing her to speak clearly. Her voice will have become what it is supposed to be, strong and clear and fierce, yet calm and graceful and soothing. Like a river, who's outside seems calm, but beneath a strong current swipes away any who dare touch it. Cycle 4 Finally grown to her maximum size, Meinu will now weigh roughly 119lbs, and be 27in at the shoulder. Her coat of fur will be long and thick, and she'll have fully developed markings. Her gem will cause her no issues whatsoever anymore, allowing her to speak and eat as she wants without any complications. Her markings will have lightened into a chestnut color, and the white on her underbelly will almost reach up into her sides. Personality
Cycle 1
In her first cycle, Meinu will be more curious than anything else. She'll just want to learn and make new friends. She'll want to gain knowledge and become as wise as possible. That being said, she'll also be very energetic and playful, needing to exercise and move about a lot. She'll be very vocal and will want to be the center of attention, a trait that is embedded in her genetics. Cycle 2 Meinu will gradually begin to realize that maybe life isn't just about exploring and finding answers to everything and making friends. She'll learn that while life is full of good and wonderful things, it's also full of terrifying and cruel Gembounds. It'll cause her to be skittish of others, and to not trust anyone until she has known them for some time. Cycle 3 In her third cycle, Meinu will have retained all her traits from her first two cycles, but she'll have regained the curiosity she had when she was newly hatched. She'll begin to explore again and want to know the answers. She'll start to explore different rooms more, trying to see everything she can. And although she'll have renewed curiosity, Meinu will be much wiser about her decisions. Cycle 4 As an adult Gembound, Meinu will realize that while some Gembounds are vile creatures who she wants nothing to do with, most aren't bad and have good intentions. She'll be more inclined to be friendly with strangers, and she'll become more outgoing as she was as a small pup. History
