Appearance

Li’s fur is a pale tan, with a lighter chest and belly. Spots litter the back half, including the back legs and tail, as well as faintly appearing around her belly and on her front legs. Her tail has a dark brown tip. She has long, dark brown ears with tufts on the ends. She has the distinctive face markings of a caracal, which are similar to that of a puma’s as well. A light-colored area around the mouth, surrounded by dark brown leading up to her eyes.

Her gem, zircon, is on the right side of her face. It comes up in 6 spikes and surrounds the top half of her right eye. Her eyes are a bright orange, accented by the stone. She has long legs and a long tail. The latter tends to trail in the ground below her, often becoming much dirtier than the rest of her body.

After cycles spent with Imperia, often fighting, Li’s body is covered in scars. Some noticeable ones include a scar across her chest and along the length of her right side, though there are plenty of others as well. In addition to these scars, her paws and a few other areas are slightly void of fur where it has burned away due to overuse of fire.

She has dropped the name “Aaliyah,” choosing instead to go as simply “Li” now.

Aaliyah is free. She's escaped the grasp of her parent, Imperia, and is now free to wander and do as she pleases without Imperia always near her. The new freedom excites her, yet at the same time she is terrified. Not used to being able to do what she wants, whenever she wants, she will wander numbly from place to place, generally avoiding all she sees.

Her life with Imperia has made her extremely cautious and wary of all she meets, and it will be very hard to get her to trust you. She's worried everyone is out to hurt her, just as Imperia did. Everything that is said to her will be almost immediately thought of as a lie. Her own words will be chosen very carefully, and said slowly. As she gains more and more time away from her parent, she will slowly become more trusting. But it will be a very slow and gradual process.

Aaliyah absolutely refuses to use her fire spells, or any spells that could potentially harm someone. If she sees someone harming another, she may step in after watching for a moment. If she sees someone using a fire spell, she will immediately shrink and cower in fear. Anything that has to do with fire will cause her to crouch in fear, and thoughts of Imperia will come to mind. It may take a while to calm her, especially if she can still smell and feel the heat from the fire.
