Appearance

Instead of a patterned variety of brown and black, Aariel is instead coloured with rich creamy browns and milk chocolate coloured markings. Only her snout bears resemblance to her giant panda cousins as it remains untainted by her unusual sub-species phenotype. The aesthetic differences are really only skin deep, as she matches the weight of the other bamboo consumers with a height of 2 feet at the shoulder and 5 feet long, allowing her to weigh in at a whopping 280lbs of muscle and fat. Thick black claws only find use in the melding and manipulating of metals and gems which she crafts into accessories and in some instances, useful tools and armour. As she does not condone the acts of violence, she is hesitant to create weapons. To cope with the amount of gems flying around, a pair of blacksmith goggles sits on top of her head at all times. She is by no means greedy but will often be found with a shoot of bamboo sticking out between her teeth. A preliminary issue after emerging from her chrysalis means she walks with the occasional tweak causing her to misstep. Both eyes are bright blue to match the colour of her gemstone, she takes pride in her appearance and will try and keep her fur meticulously clean although it makes no difference to her appearance whether she is clean or not due to the alternating shades of pelt.

Personality

At her core, the bear woman is sweet and kind who wishes no ill on any creature within Origin cave. However, from a young age her ideals will be greatly warped and influenced by Hasira. Due to her stubborn nature, the views she grows up with will be difficult to change and she would defend her opinions till death. Usually, she won't act on these thoughts so as to avoid the conflict she despises.

In her youth, she will be seeking approval by her superiors but as she ages she will become independent relying on no one but her self to keep provide her with happiness as she gifts the world with her wares. Love is not something she considers important, however this is open to change depending on her interactions, As an asexual, she doesn't feel physically or romantically attracted to anyone. Aaarien isn't a dreamer, she sees the world at face value and never bothers to take a step back to see the bigger picture or use her imagination. This plays into her naivety.

Despite all this, the blacksmith girl is happy and never upset to be within the company of others, though she dislikes it for too long, it always brightens her day to be with other people. Being able to give something back to please and help others is something she greatly enjoys.
