Appearance
Albeon is a hippogriff with raven attributes, only about the size of a small fox, but tough-looking hippogriff regardless. With still possessing raven attributes he has a dark colour scheme on his coat with mostly shades that are basically cinder black on his feathers which are on his upper torso. Other parts of him like his lower torso with horse attributes & tail feathers embellished with different shades of black & something slightly darker. Albeon's wings from the exterior & underside also possess the cinder-black.
He has a snout in the shape of a beak fitting as his nature of an avian, his Obsidian gem, takes the form of horns that mask most of his head, the horns on him have a curved & sharp shape on them looking somewhat like scythe blades. Also, the bottom edge of Albeon's gem that is physically on his head, or more specifically the part of it that is right above his eyes act as his eyebrows of sorts. Albeon also wears a long goldish scarf with a blue pattern on it at the end that appears to resemble a wing, which encircles around his neck with the rest of it trailing loosely from behind his neck from the wind, similar to how one wears a cape. Albeon's avian forelegs are thin while his equine hind legs are somewhat bulky for a hippogriff, his forelegs have three reasonably sharp talons that point forwards on them with one that aims backwards. His tail is equine like but also appear a little like a peacock's tail feathers it is subtle though. The horns on his head due to the factor that the gem would get quickly shattered when faced off with something such as steel, so while Albeon may occasionally ram or head-butt things with them, he knows to refrain with some that could cause damage to it. His voice has a reasonably deep tone even when in a good mood but when sombre or enraged his pitch appears to take on an entirely different tone not too different from his usual one, but it has a lot more power in it sounding intimidating. He can also let out some chilling screeches which he also utilises depending on how dire his situation is. Theme Songs:

Before his growth Albeon emerged and hopped into the world of the Caves in a place where he was surrounded by piles of deformed bones and may have seen a few drops of blood here and there. The moment the beginning happened Albeon already surrounded by that is the end: Death, this is more so when what appears to be a predator almost whisked him away as helpless prey. Almost, barely ducked out the way. In spite of being a creature who technically scavenges carrion for survival, Albeon couldn't help but be horrified & confused at the battlefield like view he sees, as while some bones appeared to be reasonably large & old. He saw some bones of creatures that looked tiny that he probably already has lived a longer life than, trembling at the appearance of it but out of anger not fear. Anger at how something so helpless that did nothing wrong wasn't even allowed a chance and thus angry at the world for being so cruel, mad at it for some reason deciding to almost ending his when just emerging. As times went on Albeon proudly gives what is known as "Social Darwinism" that governs a part of the world the 'middle feather' because that's what he thinks of it. Which is also shown with a few occurrences he swifts and saves small animals from other carnivores while violently diving to the predator's heads and piercing their skull with his powerful talons even though it was merely trying to find a meal to live. Albeon doesn't care it merely explains; it doesn't justify they were going to end a life that did nothing to the predator and thus must get punished for being so cruel in his eyes. He means well of course, but he has such an obsession with 'justice' & 'ethics' that he's fairly brutal over someone doing something wrong, like a 'bad cop'. While a part of it is for the solace of more helpless creatures, it's also part of Albeon's extreme disproportionate vengefulness over how he almost died so early in his life and slightly wants to give ones like that a taste of their own medicine. Seeing how he thinks he's doing justice for his actions as well, this shows a strong naiveté in Albeon as the raven thinks the raven can make things better this way, not to add since this Messiah Complex of his went over his head so much Albeon is also really arrogant of what he can do. He can be fairly stoic outward even though he's perpetually angry inwardly and something that he thinks is unethical will make him break into a rage. A lot of Albeon's views could be understandable since his outlook on things that are wrong is murder which technically is wrong if it was senseless. Another thing however that sets him off in a temper is someone lying to him, Albeon hates being lied to, thankfully though he is naive, so he is easy to fool. In spite of all of these flaws a young Albeon is relatively caring, noble, honest & gentle towards the ones he does help and Albeon has saved some lives from some reasonably vicious creatures that kill for the pleasure of it. Post-Character Development
Although with some circumstances that'll happen and maturing in age, Albeon will realise how ridiculous he was being. In that his personality will improve though with some new flaws in their form, seeing how Albeon has ended up killing a cat that was just trying to avoid dying & suffering by trying to not starve from him 'punishing' them. Albeon gets filled with lots of guilt which makes him self-deprecating, which in turn makes him lose his arrogance and become a bit humble although in one of better days shows that Albeon may still have some ego as he is a show-off and will even defend his ego if he must. His vengefulness is also not as bad now, though he can still be amazingly petty about some things, especially so with his ego. Speaking of that Albeon will come a bit calmer inwardly as well, he tries to maintain that too aware his anger was a problem, but Albeon's mood swings seem to have gotten worse lately, especially when it comes to having enemies. One second in a fight with an enemy he can't stand them everything about them makes him mad, yet the moment the battle is over, he'll be apathetic to their existence even if they managed to hurt his ego, so much Albeon won't remember them if he were to meet them again. Albeon still hates senseless killing but while that's what sets him off the most his fury is tranquil as while his pet peeves are minor things and not a huge problem, this one is a major serious issue and needs to be solved quickly with a clear mind, another thing that he hates are toxic relationships and generally tries to avoid them, sometimes he may try to advise one of the Gembounds in this toxic situation to get out of it before things get too damaging. While he still doesn't like being lied at, he partially blames himself for being too trusting, and in that, it may be a little hard to deceive him now as he is cunning in his way not to add a bit cynical from growing out of his naiveté. Albeon generally will loosen up & become more friendly whilst still retaining his other positive traits such as his caring side although he will have an attitude and if he ever were to meet himself in the past he'd be a outright heartless jerk to him since he hates the things he did in the past, and he may have some slight addictions such as water drinking a lot more than necessary almost like he's drowning his sorrows. History
Emergence - Emerged at Canis & met Mosi. He was horrified at the appearance of the bones in Canis almost like a graveyard & he barely escaped the clutches of death from Mosi by outsmarting him.
Cycle 1 - Enraged at seeing the horrors in Canis, he wishes to help the ones who are helpless who haven't done anything wrong that may get killed by others who are just heartless. But more enraged at Mosi for trying to kill him and so when by chance he entered Orion where Mosi resides and seems to love the 'stars' of the Orion, claiming to have created them. So in an act of small vengeance to sate himself before he can get true revenge, gleefully he destroyed some of the stars and he savored it. In that same instance he met the dragon Baratheon who had helped Albeon to relax just a little bit being the second Gembound he met and unlike Mosi the dragon interacted with kindness towards him. During the time when Mosi tried to kill him, he bit on his leg, which started to really hurt from a bad bruise when he met Baratheon, so the dragon brought the raven chick to Eridanus to get help in healing the leg. (The thread on that one hasn't happened yet if we do it, but the idea was touched upon In Character with their meeting with Orion.) Flying around to find a place in the caves to call 'home' since he wants to stay far away from his birthplace Canis he flew to inspect Eridanus and encountered Tukluk, he was having a better day, although still being moody and since Tuck wasn't trying to kill anyone he had some good chat about Magick with Tuck, although at first Albeon was just being an arrogant tease for him and their conversation didn't really end on rainbows and sunshine friendships, it has been just neutral. Continuing his inspection of the different areas in the caves he meets the wolf Rinaotei when inspecting Fornax, due to his bad experience with Mosi who is a canine like Rina, he was very unsure of her and gave her an attitude at first, although her different personality in comparison to Mosi made him eventually decide that the wolf was cool. Cycle 2 - With him entering the Magicka Competition he went somewhere in Polaris to practice his Spells, confident since he kept on getting new Spells left and right. After a few successes and fails, however at first just some normal training turned into a horror that brought quite a change to him. From a failed Hindsight spell he suddenly saw witness a vision of the past in Polaris, the time when the black dragon Raheerah unleashed chaos on the caves. And this vision was more than a nightmare he could feel all the physical pain the Gembound he was seeing this vision through was feeling and it was absolute torture. The horrors of it though the war atmosphere, more death than in Canis not to add just how utterly unexpected it was he has been rendered numb from the trauma of it. His emotions seem to be a bit drained from it. Although he saw a horrifying vision he still participated in the Magicka Competition, first accidently stumbling upon the Wrestling Competition that Mosi was in from being too spaced out thinking of what just happened, he also encountered Rinaotei again the time he arrived it was already over with Mosi as the victor. Rina's little offhand comment that she's going to stick around to see if Mosi gets booed at since not many spectators seemed to like him. This gave him an idea and he used a Whisper Spell booing at Mosi himself with the Spell ensures that everyone there could hear the booing and in a different voice, in hopes that others would boo at him themselves so he subtlely tried to stir trouble, not that anyone will learn it was him that provoked it. His mood gets a little better from that, although it was back to being numb after he went to the Magicka Competition. Entering the Magicka Competition himself, which he didn't get into the Top 3, since he was back to being numb, he didn't care much, but his arrogance has convinced himself that no doubt he was 4th Place, even though the placings after 3rd were never mentioned, but he's fully convinced that it's the case. The trauma of that vision is still plaguing his head so much that he has forgotten that the reason why he's looking at the different parts of the caves is to look for a new home to live in, so he's been going around the caves aimlessly not knowing why but continues to anyway learning even more Spells than ever before, he still avoids Canis. Blindly going to Fornax again, he encounters the snake Septiezal who was the one who lost in the battle with Mosi in the Wrestling Competition. They connect on a common hatred of Mosi, whether or not they also relate in regards as to how horrible Canis is to Albeon is to see. Still, he is improving a little from that vision, that trademark bitterness that disappeared for a bit from coming apathetic due to the vision is coming back a little. Flying back to Polaris he comes across a strife between Rinaotei and Mosi in regards to how Mosi was going to abduct a emerged wolf pup to use for his needs. However, since Rina used Mist Cover to use as stealth to escape from Mosi he didn't know who they were. But when Mosi became infuriated at Rina for blinding him with Glaciate, the angered roar he did, the mist looking like smoke reminded him of the vision doesn't help how he was in Polaris again. And since Mosi was throwing death threats he viewed him as a 'heartless monster' who needed to be taught a lesson, and so when he accidently cast Telekinesis for the first time he throw Mosi across the cave and managed to knock him out. Ironic really... For that was the first time he did his 'task' of saving someone 'helpless' from a 'monster' who needed to be punished, and his first meeting of Mosi is what made him decide on doing this 'task', the first one he punished is the same Gembound who made think like this... And he has no idea about that, which is a shame for if he realized that he also got his revenge properly there he would've mellowed out a bit Finally, improving just a bit in regards to that vision to now wishing it'll go away already he returned to Eridanus to try and remember about how he was planning to find a new home. Which is what this young avian is doing right now, so it's unknown on how this will turn out. |
