Appearance

Anahgo is quite the unusual creature. Bred between an American alligator and a dingo he will wear both scale and fur. Inherited from his dingo 'heritage' Anahgo stands on legs that would belong to a canine. However, shorter and stockier as they are, they work well to carry him across the land. His paws are more so designed more towards his alligator heritage, giving him a better grasp on things that paws would otherwise not be able to do. Each toe ends in two inches of sharp claws. His entire head is long and shaped much like an alligators, except for his muzzle which is shaped after that of a canine. A black nose is met by soft, golden-reddish fur that stretches down all the way to his cheeks and down the front half of his neck before wrapping up around the back of his neck just before his shoulders. Fangs protrude from his muzzle, much like that of alligator heritage.

The only remaining features this intriguing creature beholds from his dingo heritage are canine ears that rest at the back of his head and a few patches of fur at his front two elbows and along the ridge of his rump. Green scales make up the rest of his muscular body. Ridges forming at the top of his head and stretching down to just about the middle of his back with the scales growing smaller the closer they get towards the fur that wraps around his neck. His long tail, when Anahgo's fully grown, will leave this creature at a length of fifteen feet long and stand at just about 1.8 feet at his shoulder. Another feature from his father that he has inherited would be that simple, and easily used, strength in his jaws. He will rend and tear anything that happens to fall victim to his fangs. However, it would do well to know that Anahgo cannot swallow things whole like most alligators do. He has to chew them to bits and pieces just to be able to swallow his meal.

His eyes are a fiery amber, but it is unsure whether this is from his father or from the dingo he had been created from. His gem, a beautiful carnelian, makes up a scale plate along the back of his hips. Just beneath the patch of fur along the ridge the Carnelian blends in easily as multiple spikes grow the same length of the fur. It is only visible if one is looking hard enough of if light reflects of the gem's surface.

Personality

Above all else Anahgo is a very strong-willed creature. There isn't anything this hybrid wouldn't go rushing at head first. Stubborn to a fault, Anahgo will never surrender in, quite frankly, any situation he may find himself in. Giving up is not in his genetics and therefore Anahgo would surely fight to the death and as hard as he can muster. Anahgo is also very energetic and enjoys the feeling of being alive. He will, at times, search for things to give him this sensation be it fighting someone, or exploring something new and wondrous. As any creature full of strong-will, Anahgo carries with him a sense of pride in anything he does. He will often hold himself in what others would view as regal.

Though it seems Anahgo has not inherited his father's youthful aggression, but instead all of his curiosity. Albeit, he is quite territorial and would most likely blast anything with flames that comes slithering into his place he calls home without his, or his father's permission. It also, is not to say if another gembound sets off his anger that he will not become highly aggressive. Anagho tends to follow his instincts as well with instant reactions. A noise, or even a scent, could send him in a flurry or motion to either explore or find reason to prove his strength.

He is nothing short of being a cunning creature. He will go out of his way to find a way to outsmart anyone who thinks he a daft creature. And while doing so he would not be above teaching you some manners with his dangerous fangs. Anahgo will eventually learn to be resourceful and adaptable by spending more time with his father and potentially gaining these traits as he grows older. Anahgo looks up to his father. Watches and awes over the power and strength the bull exudes in just about anything he does and the hybrid will strive to do the same. He would prove to his father that he is worthy of respect, practically pining for his father's approval as he does what he can to demonstrate that he too can be just as powerful.

When it comes to dealing with other gembounds and socializing, Anahgo is not your best conversational holder. He can tend to be loud when he speaks, shouting even if his energy and excitement raise to levels he cannot control. He will start to talk fast, causing some of his words to merge together, but with age Anahgo will grasp hold of these emotions and better contain them. There are many adventures for this intriguing hybrid to have and in due time these adventures just may shape and mold him into an entirely new creature. Only time can tell.
